  1. Alright motherfuckers, if this goes on any longer I'm gonna pop an aneurysm or something.

    TL:DR, stop being pedantic.

    Not summer time:

CET (Central European Time, used by countries such as Sweden, Germany et cetera) = 18:00

EET (Eastern European Time, used by Finland amongst others) = 19:00 (CET + 1, see that fuckin' plus?)

    Summer time... lord help me:

CEST (Central European Summer Time, swedes use this currently) = 19:00

EEST (Eastern European Summer Time, finns use this currently) = 20:00

... you see a pattern here bitches? +1 plus one whatever Sweden is.

All of this means that finland is just +1 from your lovely neighbours, so for all intents and purposes cet = cest and eet = eest unless you're the most pedantic fuck alive and you swill around some port in your mansion while reading some random ass broadsheet.

Hell, if you even look up "Finland timezone" on google, guess what you get? https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=finland+timezone&rlz=1C1ASRW_enGB737GB737&oq=finland+timezone&aqs=chrome.0.0l6.2418j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

    Fucking Eastern European Timezone.

Cut the shit, cut the S, in practice it means a same thing unless you have to use a calculator to subtract 1 hour from a clock face because mathematics is too damn difficult, in which case, what the fuck.

                   -  Signed, The Professor of basic shitstain numeracy

Edit: Ffs in summer we (UK) go to BST instead of GMT, guess what though? We still call it GMT since EVERY COUNTRY IN EUROPE SYNCS UP WITH THE CLOCKS GOING FORWARDS AND BACKWARDS

  2. @jumalpeku

Have you asked any of the admins/moderators about this? Because if I remember correctly my conversation with one of them trended towards discussion in regards to the cost (which isn't really that high, let's be real for a second) and shit, knowing full well how 'wanted' the idea of a lan environment is / was; plus complaints that ea doesn't want to support it

Northern Ascendancy are searching for a centre for the upcoming elite season. The role will be a backup to Anrh17, that said however you will most likely play in atleast 50% of ecl games.

If you are interested in said 'backup' role but don't like centre that much, feel free to message me anyway as we can rotate some players around.

🎵Got to keep searching and searching... 🎵

Admins, stop deleting posts in swedish in this thread. this is almost a swedish team. K, thx - bye.

Two posts in swedish? Disgusting behaviour. Two posts in finnish? All good in the hood bois

  5. A beautifully prepared piece by our own cultivated virtuouso, one that is surely bound to rival even the greats of the literary world...

     - "The mildew is back on the walls..." we should really get that checked out some time...

The puck is dropped, as play begins.

Each team vying, for hard-earned wins.

    Captains and sticks, synchronously clash,

The puck comes loose, hordes pursue with dash.

    Well positioned iSvamp, takes control,

To defend and assist, his duty and goal.

A crisp pass takes the puck, to the left side,

    Where two giants, suddenly collide.

For a split moment, there's an eternal mess.

Possessions rotate, like in a game of chess.

    iSvamp was skating, exceptionally fast,

The game was ending, a few seconds would last.

Preparing for the shot, he fell as he slipped,

Hitting the ice, his front teeth got chipped.

It looked like he just, forgot how to skate.

But how is this possible? just turned twenty-eight.

He looked like a mushroom, wearing red and white,

Picked up the puck, and began to bite.

His teammates realized, he forgot to take his pills,

    Which explained his madness,

and his last year, lack of skills.

The doctor came out, and realized for sure.

That a Elite trophy, is the only cure.

ESHL-projektet lever, om än i ganska avskalat format ;) Med support från svenska communityt och ev. lite samarbete med allas vårt NHLGamer så kanske det kan hända lite grejer!

For the NG members who dont speak Swedish:
Here is the latest video in a project I am a part of for the SHL (Swedish Hockey League). Most of this video is in English!

    So where's the tournament? ;)

Can you get significant benefit playing NHL with gaiming monitor vs. normal full-hd with 200 Hz?

I'm not sure what you mean.

Hz rate doesn't matter as myself and others have pointed out. (As long as it's 60, although I don't think monitors are even manufactured below that now)

As for resolution, having a ps pro will allow nhl to look nicer on a 1080p screen but a 1440p or 4k screen will be needed to get the full, or near full benefit from the system.
