Tool to see scores of selected games
Kenu replied to Malcowich's topic in SportsGamer Feedback & Questions
Not sure if it's as feature rich as you hope at release, but we do have something coming out that will at least significantly improve the current following of scores.- 1 reply

Messaging the captains of opponent team
Kenu replied to Malcowich's topic in SportsGamer Feedback & Questions
Thanks for the feedback @Malcowich! As Sepi says above, multi-messaging is something we've been wanting to do for a longer while, but there doesn't seem to be such a feature in the forum software by default, so we will possibly have to poke some holes in it to make it happen. I agree it is a must-have feature in the long run, so it's on the list. Regarding abbreviations - good idea. We want to develop the team page a lot in general, but that's a good small detail that should certainly be available. Kind regards, Kenneth -
Ecl6 Elite, after 8

Really fun and interesting write-up! Thank you for the entertainment! -
Hey NHLGamers, You may have noticed that there is a break in the ECL Elite schedule next week and there's a reason for this. We hereby want to present to you, the ECL Elite All-Star Week! We asked every ECL Elite team to submit a list of 4 players from their team that they wanted to nominate for the event, consisting of: 2 Forwards 1 Defenceman 1 Goalie There were some requirements for the players, in order to be eligible for the All-Star Event: The nominees have to had played in at least 50% of the teams games this season. At the very least, one of the nominees has to be able to stream. Nominees have to be available to play at the following times: Wednesday the 21st 20:30 CET Thursday the 22nd 20:30 CET Sunday the 25th 20:30 CET Most teams submitted 4 players per team, some were unable to. In the end, we ended up with a pool of 54 players. From this pool the ECL Staff selected 8 captains, who will draft their own teams from the pool of remaining players. How does the ECL Elite All-Star week work? 3-on-3 hockey (+ goalies)! Out of the 54 players that we were presented with by the Elite teams, the staff have picked 8 captains. These 8 captains will draft from the pool of the remaining 46 players to form teams of 4 players, including: 2 forwards 1 defenceman 1 goalie The remaining 22 players that were not picked won't be in the All-Star event, unless something unexpected happens and a team needs to substitute a player. These restrictions apply to the captains selecting the teams: A minimum of 1 player from each Elite team needs to be represented in the All-Star event In the first round of picks, players for the remaining 8 teams that aren't represented through the captains have to be picked. Two players from the same ECL Elite team should not play on the same All-Star team. The players that are available in the draft pool must be selected for the same position as they are in the pool. A goalie should not be selected to play forward, etc. The 8 teams will be randomly split into 2 groups: Group 1 plays on Wednesday the 21st, starting 20:30 CET. 3 games will be live streamed with commentary - the exact details will be agreed between broadcast team and teams. Group 2 plays on Thursday the 22nd, starting 20:30 CET. 3 games will be live streamed with commentary - the exact details will be agreed between broadcast team and teams. The best two teams from each group will make it into the semi-final stage, best-of-1. All three games (2x semis and 1x final) will be streamed. The semi-finals and finals will be played on Sunday the 25th, starting 20:30 CET. The All-Star Draft As mentioned above, the captains will draft their team from the remaining pool of players, meaning there will be a total of three rounds in the drafts in order to fill out the teams. The draft will be a snake draft, meaning the captain that goes first in the first round, will pick last in the second round and then first in the third round again. The draft order was randomly picked and it looks as follows: cHIIMEERa vatalisti FlyerKungen Norpee ICappeI SepiDN TehhAhola MartindalexC The first round of picks is from the teams that are not represented by a captain. Below you can see the full list of the players in the All-Star player pool. The captains are marked in bold and with a grey background and the available picks in round 1 have a blue background. In the two following rounds, captains can fill out their empty spots from any team, except the team they represent themselves. What an exciting list of talented players! Who would you pick on your team? Let us know in the comments. We kick off tomorrow (Sunday) with the All-Star Draft stream at 17:00 CET at twitch.tv/NHLGamerTwitch and we hope to see you there! You can see the full All-Star Week schedule below: Art by @cHIIMEERa

Hi Alex, Ok, let's reply to your questions that you sent us this morning: If you break the rules in the process (after being told you can't switch teams), yes. If you look at the rule book, it says: 14.1 Violation of the member registration rules (see 1.3) will result in a permanent account ban. So as you can see, we already softened this rule from permanent to 2018. I'm in no position to answer that. What's honorable about breaking the rules? Inter Iceland could have picked actual free agents and resolved the issue. The two guys broke one of the most important rules of our website that is there to secure the integrity of our leagues and tournaments. No.

Hey NHLGamers, We're excited to announce that we are cooperating with the Helsinki based KHL team Jokerit in bringing you the opportunity for you and your friend to win tickets to see the best hockey played here in Europe when Jokerit and CSKA Moscow meet for game #4 in Helsinki on Tuesday the 20th of March. EDIT: THE COMPETITION HAS ENDED How do I participate? There are two ways to participate and you can double your chances by doing both: #1: Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/nhlgamerofficial/ You can participate by checking out our Instagram and commenting on it with your guess on the final score for game #1 (played in Moscow on Friday the 16th of March) and by tagging your friend who you want to take to the game. Also be sure to follow our Instagram to stay on top of our content there. All entries must be entered before the game starts in order to be entered into the competition. One entry per person. If the winner is unable to make it, the prize will be re-drawn. #2: Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/NHLGamer/ All entries must be entered before the game starts in order to be entered into the competition. One entry per person. If the winner is unable to make it, the prize will be re-drawn. What's the prize? There will be two winners (one on Instagram and one of Facebook) of two tickets to the Jokerit - CSKA Moscow game on Tuesday the 20th of March. I will personally be joining the winners at this spectacle of an event. These are some good seats close to the action, so we will definitely have a great time at the game! If several people guess the correct score, we will randomly pick two winners. The winners will be selected and contacted on Saturday 17th of March. Can I still buy tickets for the game(s)? There are still tickets available for both game #3 (Monday 19th of March) and #4 (Tuesday 20th of March). You can buy them here: https://www.ticketmaster.fi/artist/jokerit-tickets/973335?language=en-us But I'm too far from Helsinki! If you don't want to make the trip and you live in the Nordics, the games can be viewed on Viaplay with a subscription. Hope to see you at the game!

I love this story for so many reasons! Father and son spending quality time with some good gaming - that's the dream, right? Hope we get some more of these family/cousin/neighbour stories. Or even about how this hobby has created close frienships.

NHLGamer is happy to announce that starting mid-March we will host another online league on our website. The German GEL - which just finished its first season with a complete new staff - will join NHLGamer. This means that NHLGamer besides the European-wide ECL and the Russian RCL, now also offers a third 6vs6 league. While joining NHLGamer, the GEL will be renamed to GCL, which stands for the German Championship League. The GCL is targeted at ambitious teams from the German speaking area (typically Germany, Austria and Switzerland) which want to gather a first experience in a 6vs6 league. This operation mode shall also be kept, meaning the league will be restricted to teams which have at least German speaking captains. Several teams which played last years' initial GEL season also play in the ECL. The most well-known team is probably Inter Iceland, followed by teams such as Deadly Phantoms, Clowns on Ice and Rising Phantoms. Besides those, a few new teams that got their very first 6vs6 experience in the GEL decided to also join ECL 6. The GEL Staff from the will continue to operate the league and move over to NHLGamer. Besides the current GCL Staff, the team is still looking for new people willing to join. Anybody interested should contact @typolino79, @Capitano_82, @Bille123 or @Hennisch. We are very proud to have the GCL as a part of NHLGamer and welcome the GCL Staff, teams and players with open arms! On behalf of NHLGamer

NHL Gamer Community Forums feedback
Kenu replied to Kenu's topic in SportsGamer Feedback & Questions
Yes, good idea. Can't give you a time-frame, but it will happen. Currently no. Good feedback. We have something better almost finished at this stage and adding groups to that is a good idea. -
Lite group images 2, 4 and 6 are now updated. Images 2 and 4 reflect the change described in the article and one team name fixed in image 6. Please download these updated images, in case you want to use them on social media etc.
-
Thanks @Yoloberg, ECL 6 and RCL 2 now available through community menu.
-
Try now. In the future, please post your query here, as we'll be able to help you better that way: https://nhlgamer.com/community/forum/26-nhlgamer-helpdesk/

I think it starts on Friday, so 72 hours...but still..

@Bantubox you'll have better luck by either tagging @Taunomaister1 or quoting his post. Otherwise he probably doesn't get a notification about your question. (I have now done that, so you don't need to).
-
If you're able to come up with where the issue lies (such as what games are missing stats), please let us know.

Thank you for all of your applications so far. I'm very pleasantly surprised by the interest towards helping out and how quickly many of you have contacted me - thank you! Please keep them coming, though, as there's quite a lot of tasks to take care of.
