Hey Everyone, We are very excited to see all (the big majority) finishing up on the regular season and getting ready for the playoffs! As you may have noticed, there have been some matters that the staff has had to deal with and there are still a few matters to deal with before finalizing the standings and moving on to the playoffs. We will of course be implementing any possible WO-results before the start of the playoffs, so don't worry if your games are still missing despite things being agreed upon. Feel free to add any missing stats or even play a missing couple of games during Wednesday. If that allows us to avoid WO's - great! Below you can see a wonderful video made by @gzell60, which illustrates the Playoffs logic during this first season of the ECL: It is worth noting that if two teams are equally ranked, for example A1 and C1 - as in the video example - we will look at points/game instead of just points, in the situation where one team has played less than the other. You can see a small preview of the playoff-tree below. I hope that clears out some of the questions you might have for now. Thank you @Billy44205. Like @MartindalexC, I'm disappointed by some of the things we haven't been able to accomplish during this first season. I've had some big things happening in my personal life, which I won't go into publicly, but will mention that they've drained my personal energy levels to a personal low and are one reason why I haven't been able to be as active as I wanted to. I actually liked the idea about keeping the game stats and giving every team the points in the case of a disqualification or similar. Thanks for the feedback - definitely worth considering!

Lots of quality discussion going on in this thread that deserves a comment, but unfortunately I don't have the time to do so at the moment. I have to comment on this though: Yes, we've heard this rumour as well and if this was the case, that would indeed be very wrong and condemnable. We've investigated this and asked for any proof of these claims and we've received nothing that proves these claims. We have discussed this internally beforehand and agreed that nobody talks about this (which of course should be the case in any case) and as far as we are aware, nobody has. I would appreciate if respected members of the community, such as yourself @imosi wouldn't spread rumours, unless you have something to back this up. Please feel free to reach out to me if you know something we don't. Thank you.

This is the rule that was applied. I don't remember much complaints about this before. I can definitely understand the issues that lie within the rule, but at the same time, I find it important to respect the hundreds of man-hours put into organising, playing and reporting all of the games against this club. If the majority of people disagree with this, then we can look at revamping this rule in the future. @Valmuri: Looks like you need a history lesson or two. You can read about the reasons in the opening post.

You did notice that the standings are back on the league page?

Thanks for the quick report. The reason is that our ISP has informed us that one of our scripts is putting way too much strain on their MySQL-server. We need to figure out what the issue is before we can get the page back up. This is very unfortunate, but it was either the page or the entire website. We can not give an estimate for the fix at this point, before we have investigated the issue further.

Would be interesting to know how you managed that, though. It's not supposed to be possible.

I tried to fix this now, and the number of penalties is correct, as is the total PIM for the player. For some reason the penalty is shown twice in the match report, though. Too tired to figure that out right now. Perhaps @Lurkins knows what is going on.

Game has been deleted. Ok thanks. I can understand that a person would make that mistake, as you don't necessarily remember that there was a double minor. I will fix it soon.

Ok, so just so I understand it, when reporting the game, was the double-minor interpreted as 2 penalties or 1? The logic should be that it is one (though I can understand that it isn't obvious for the user).

Oh, ok I see what you mean. So even though you told the website the correct amount of penalties (7 - right?), when you picked 4 minutes as the penalty length, it didn't allow you to submit it?

Hmm, that's weird! What phone & browser are you using? It's working fine for me on Safari on an iPhone 5s. Have you tried it on a PC?

Hey @Cherry and the rest of the Nordic Nosebleed. Unfortunately you are too late for the current ECL, which has already started, but we'd be happy to have you in the next season!

I've seen similar products advertised. Please know, that I didn't make these products and as far as I know, I'm older than the company. Perhaps in the future, you can report matches by clicking that logo.

Playoffs are set for 32 teams. Sure it's the majority, but it gives all teams a chance to fight for the playoffs and hopefully we won't see teams split as a result.

Step 1: Winning team reports the team stats. (This will get a face-lift in the coming days) Step 2: Submitter (winning team captain) of game checks that everything is ok before submitting again. Step 3: Both teams go into the PS4 Team Tools -> Insert missing stats and choose the game and are brought to this screen. WOG = Without Goalie DP = Delayed Penalty PS = Penalty Shot EN = Empty Net Video Link = youtube video ID. For example if the Youtube link is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pdxNSi20jA you would input "0pdxNSi20jA". This can be added later, if it's not ready at that time.

Good point. It sort of broke with the new version of the forum software. Will definitely add a page like that! Please remind me if you don't see this feature within a week.

ECL (PS4) groups have been created By Kenu 12/14/2015 Hey Everyone, We had an interesting night and the groups are now done for the first ECL on PS4! In case you're wondering how the teams were divided, here's the short version: - Top 16 teams (in order to be dividable by 4) were selected and randomised on their own. The teams to be seeded separately were chosen based on this list: http://nhlgamer.com/community...ue-format/?page=2#comment-71 - The rest of the teams were seeded randomly into the four groups and we ended up with 4 groups of 13 teams. We have contacted several teams that registered on the forum, but not on the new platform. They have until 11:00 CET to get back to me if they still want to be a part of the league. If they do, they will be randomly seeded into the groups. Once we know whether or not we get any additional teams, we can create the schedule and release it. This will happen during the day today (Monday). The schedule will have games for all teams already today, but if you have to, you can agree with your opponent to move them.
