  1. I've seen similar products advertised. Please know, that I didn't make these products and as far as I know, I'm older than the company. Perhaps in the future, you can report matches by clicking that logo.
  2. Playoffs are set for 32 teams. Sure it's the majority, but it gives all teams a chance to fight for the playoffs and hopefully we won't see teams split as a result.
  3. Step 1: Winning team reports the team stats. (This will get a face-lift in the coming days) Step 2: Submitter (winning team captain) of game checks that everything is ok before submitting again. Step 3: Both teams go into the PS4 Team Tools -> Insert missing stats and choose the game and are brought to this screen. WOG = Without Goalie DP = Delayed Penalty PS = Penalty Shot EN = Empty Net Video Link = youtube video ID. For example if the Youtube link is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pdxNSi20jA you would input "0pdxNSi20jA". This can be added later, if it's not ready at that time.
  4. Good point. It sort of broke with the new version of the forum software. Will definitely add a page like that! Please remind me if you don't see this feature within a week.
  5. ECL (PS4) groups have been created By Kenu 12/14/2015 Hey Everyone, We had an interesting night and the groups are now done for the first ECL on PS4! In case you're wondering how the teams were divided, here's the short version: - Top 16 teams (in order to be dividable by 4) were selected and randomised on their own. The teams to be seeded separately were chosen based on this list: http://nhlgamer.com/community...ue-format/?page=2#comment-71 - The rest of the teams were seeded randomly into the four groups and we ended up with 4 groups of 13 teams. We have contacted several teams that registered on the forum, but not on the new platform. They have until 11:00 CET to get back to me if they still want to be a part of the league. If they do, they will be randomly seeded into the groups. Once we know whether or not we get any additional teams, we can create the schedule and release it. This will happen during the day today (Monday). The schedule will have games for all teams already today, but if you have to, you can agree with your opponent to move them. 6. It's good to get the feedback of the user experience. We will certainly work on improving that in the future.
  7. I do agree that it's not completely logical. I wasn't aware that email was being used for signing in. Thanks for the feedback - we'll see if we can get it to work on the front page as well (at some point).
  8. That shouldn't be the case. You should be able to log in with your username on both platforms. The email doesn't work on the main page, that is true.
  9. Really? That's very odd. Obvious question, but you are sure you're typing in the correct login information?
  10. Very true. We definitely want to have this functionality. We need to study the functionality of the community software more, but it should definitely be possible. On the to-do list, but won't give you any estimates, as there are more urgent things on the list. Appreciate the request!
  11. Thanks, this is just due to us not finding the time to make this page. It is coming. I believe this is a choice made by @Lurkins. I agree it might not be the optimal approach. I guess the logic might be that you don't get confused about how to go back. Easy to fix it so it doesn't open into a new tab. Our goal is to merge the forums and league parts of the website more and more, so they are one similar experience, rather than these two parts. With the pressure of getting the league underway, it is not our top priority at the moment, though.
  12. Fixed a bug where a players LW-position pick wouldn't be saved to their league specific positions. This was causing players not to show up on the team roster. Thanks @Jiihooo86 for pointing me in the right direction.
  13. Hi Everyone, As you might have noticed, the league website is now launched. It is far from the dream that we have with all the features, but I'm sure you'll discover within a few days that it's already enjoyable as it is. That being said, there have been some bugs reported and I am fixing them as we speak. If you run into any issues, please describe them as well as you can in this thread. If you can, please post a screenshot, if you think that might help. Thanks!
  14. I can understand the sense of urgency to get playing. We are putting up the league site tomorrow (as announced on the blog) so everyone can set up their teams. It seems not all teams read the blog, though - so there's many who don't know what's going on. Apologies on our side from that - should have put up a bigger announcement.
  15. Yup, I agree. Seeding the top 20 separately, in order to cause them to spread evenly 5 per group should be even enough. I suggest we use the TOP 20 (6vs6) ALL-TIME-list that @gzell60 posted.
  16. I'm liking the approach as well. Do we want to categorise the teams in the top 20, or just say that #1 is equal to #20, meaning, we can randomise the 20 evenly into the 4 groups.
  17. Because the votes started when ConsoleHockey was still around and some people were considering playing in both leagues. The votes are now 69 for 2 days a week and 63 for 3 days a week. I know at least 3 people who have told me that they want to change their vote from 2 -> 3, after finding out that ConsoleHockey won't be running a tournament. This means the votes are at least 66-66. (Please note that I have recently added the option to change your vote, but this thread is old and people haven't found the option yet.) This is up for discussion, it is only our suggestion.
  18. We are suggesting 3 game-days per week, unless the community is strongly against it.
  19. Hence I did asked for the findings to be referenced and explained. Also, I asked to do this publicly, so it can be openly criticised. Very happy with the activity here guys - great work! Please keep the discussion going and comment on the different lists that the guys have put great efforts into making!
  20. @gzell60: To be honest, I don't care as long as people are happy. I would be happy to randomize all, but if we have a fair way to say which teams should be seeded separately, I'm happy to do so. What ever sort of TOP-list someone would like to compile for this purpose - I'm happy to look at!
  21. Would anyone be interested in compiling a list of the TOP 20 teams that should be seeded evenly, in order to minimize the risk of "groups of death"? Please do so publicly, for example by writing your findings in this thread with references to why you chose this order. Thank you! Kenneth
  22. Yes, this might be the best idea. 1/3 of the teams would be seeded based on leaderboards and rest would be randomized. Any thoughts from others on whether it should be all-time or monthly leaderboards?
  23. Hmm.. guest posts should be disabled. Interesting. Anyways, I guess partial seeding could be done. Not all teams have played enough games (especially 6vs6) to be able to be measured. But sure, we could consider putting the known top-teams in different groups. Keep the suggestions coming.
  24. I posted a reply to the other blog as I missed a couple earlier comments. Apparently that moved the other blog to #1 position, so this is a bump for this one, so it appears on the front page of the community. Below is also the comment by @VilberttoCarlos and my reply to it, as I assume most people would miss it otherwise: Hey @VilberttoCarlos, Sorry I didn't notice your comment earlier! We won't have an upload option, as you can upload to YouTube, but we will have the option to submit your YouTube-video ID, which allows us to embed your video to our website. Shoutbox... yes! I was going to say that we already have that, but it's true it's only in the community side at this stage. We'll see how we can implement it. I would prefer to have the same shoutbox everywhere. If we are doing a live stream, then we can embed the Twitch chat. Thanks to @Enkmanni for chiming in with his opinion too!
