Hi
I am wondering is there any suggestions or idea's were we can buy Ps5's for our team. There sold out everywhere and we would like to be able to participate in ecl winter.
thxGigantti was just advertising that they have some quantities available, so I would recommend asking them as well. The waiting time should be significantly lower than some time ago.

SportsGamers,
With the new ECL season at the doorstep, we are happy to announce the first-ever 1v1 ECL. In true ECL fashion, this league is for all the best European gamers to test their skills against their peers, and ultimately compete for a great prize pool and the European Championship League title.
We have now launched the registration for ECL '23 Winter 1v1. This article will feature all the information you need about participating. If you haven’t read our general information yet, we suggest you head over to our ECL ’23 Winter information article.
Description
ECL 1v1 is for players who want to test their skills against the best of the best in competitive play. The ECL 1v1 Winter season features four qualifiers, leading to group play with the top 128 players of these qualifiers involved. The top 64 of the group stage will continue to determine the best of the best in the best-of-three playoffs with a prize pool totaling 2500€. Taking part in the ECL 1v1 seasons requires the purchase of the ECL '23 Player License.
ECL ‘23 Player License
Playing in the ECL '23 Winter 1v1 requires a player license. The ECL ‘23 Player License allows for participation in both the ECL 6v6 and 1v1 leagues for the full ECL ‘23 year including both the ECL ‘23 Winter and Spring leagues. This license will grant you access to compete in the most prestigious and biggest competitive NHL esports league in Europe. An ECL season spans over the course of two to three months and guarantees a minimum of roughly 20 games of competition on the 6v6 side*, whereas the 1v1 league adds - at the very least - the opportunity to participate in four single-elimination qualifier events that are used to qualify the top 128 players that move forward to the group stage.
*Based on the minimum amount of games played in a starting role in the ECL '22 Spring: Core regular season.
On the 6v6 side, ECL Neo will continue being available at no team license fee for teams wishing to get a taste of competitive virtual hockey, whereas all other divisions are subject to a team license fee. The license is exponentially higher at higher levels of competition, given the increased spotlight and additional content around the divisions in question.
License fees will be allocated to fund prize pools and developing operations, such as our broadcasts, live productions and promoting the league.

Special rules for Qualifier teams
-
To prevent teams from taking advantage, specifically recruiting players to bolster your chances in the qualifier that have no intention of remaining in the team beyond that, we have decided to enforce a soft roster lock post qualifier play.
-
If a former Elite player wants to participate in a qualifier for a Wildcard, Pro or Lite team, then they will be locked into that division at where the team ends up throughout the season
- Transfer to a lower division is possible
-
If a former Pro player wants to participate in a qualifier for a wildcard, Pro or Lite team, then they will be locked into that division at where the team ends up for 2 weeks (starting from the first game played in Pro that season)
- Transfer to a lower division is possible
-

Hi @Hashim96,
I would recommend looking at the Swedish Championships, which you can register for now either as an individual (1v1) or as a team (6v6). You can read more here:
If you are looking for a team, you can mark yourself as a free agent here:
You can also browse this thread with teams looking for players:
Finally, you can also join our Discord, where it's possible to find teams to play with for the night and maybe something more meaningful.
https://sportsgamer.gg/discord
If you're not used to Discord, it can feel a little bit intimidating at first, due to the amount of information and options thrown at you. We're working on a "How to Discord" instruction set for NHL 23 to make it a bit easier. We're also open to feedback on how to make it more accessible.
Welcome to the community!

Hi, apologies for the poor communication on this @GuziQ, @Official_Fungus, @DobboJ90 & @Juhaniz-.
The playoffs will feature 24 teams and thus 6 teams from each group. We have moved the playoff line down one spot to reflect that. What this means practically is that the top 2 teams in each group will continue directly into round 2 of the playoffs, while the remaining teams, seeded 9-24 will play a play-in round (9vs 24 and so on) to determine who makes round two of the playoffs.

Qualifier Round 1 date updated to start officially on Monday due to awaiting the Wildcard battle to finish.
That being said, teams can still play games against teams in their group already on Sunday and then report them on Monday when the schedule including the Wildcard teams has been made available.

Theres no option for this but i will buy ps5 when there is NHL game that is only available on ps5 or when my ps4 will die.
Yes, sorry this was the intention of the poll, but I didn't write it clearly enough. We don't know - but historically when there's a true next gen version, the new and old platforms have not worked together. So when voting, please assume that NHL 22 for PS4 and PS5 do not work together.
I have to stress it though, this is not something that has been confirmed and is simply an assumption based on historical data.

Hi Everyone,
In this thread we're trying to gauge the situation in the European side of the community regarding PlayStation 5 ownership.
This thread is intended for people who play or intend to play in the ECL. Please spread the word so we can get as wide of an array of replies as possible.
Edit: As we don't know whether or not the PS4 and PS5 will be compatible together - please base your vote with the assumption that they didn't, as we're trying to gauge the worst-case-scenario.

There hasn't been a move recently as far as I know.

Hi Charlie,
They will be released tomorrow (Wednesday). The official first day will be Thursday, but we are hopeful that teams will get the information early enough to start playing tomorrow, if they want to.

Hello,
Is there any API on nhlgamer to be able to relay results/stats/standings/shedule to another website? We are representing a real ice hockey club and we want our stats to appear on their website.
Best Regards
Hi,
We have a private API available, which we can talk about.
I'll reach out through PM.
