I want to know what people think about who are the best of the best in the business right now. It's 2018, ECL6 is closer to it's end than beginning. I thought we should separate this topic from original "best players in ECL scene" thread as we are talking about only ECL6 this time. So instead of listing "dream line-up", try to list players that are actually the most important players for their teams. Players that really are the most feared ones in their teams. Players that are irreplaceable compared to other guys in their team. Players that your eyes pick first when you find an opponent in EASHL search. Players that are the backbone of their teams. It can be anything you rank high when you think about the best of us. You dont have to pick 16 MVP's from Elite for example if you're not sure about some teams. List teams and players that you are 100% sure about - this way it's easier to keep up with votes as there are only those names that we think are the best. For an example, I didn't pick any player that I'm not sure about being their team's MVP so that's the reason for not having every possible team on my list. So to keep this voting more clear, lets have one rule for the listing: you can list only one player per team. --- Here's my list. Elite: (random order, 11 players from 16 teams) Dominointi, SJK eSports Penatski, Carlsberg HC Puantso, Dynasty Totalii, Written in the Stars Foppatofflan, Northern Ascendancy Hullued, Sjukstugan tbnantti, Northern Stars topikeranen, Evolution Slaivone, Kattiautomaatti Supreex, Rusty Blades The_Alpha_Furyan, Falun Coal Miners Pro: (random order, 11 players from 32 teams) Ollizhki, Shameful Knights I_Eki_I , FILADELPHIA Vaporik, Almost Famous ZipPlayer, White Trash Jaikenk, Alliance HT Lagezickarno, Monte Carlo RutonMosse, Red Machine DUNZA, Synergy Hockey itspardytime, TIKI TALK Darkki87, EN HUND gzell60, Deadly Phantoms wild card: MCH_98, SIKA Did'nt list any teams/players that I'm not sure about, mostly because of that I haven't faced some teams that much or then it was too hard to pick one player above the rest. For an example, there are some teams in Pro that I have never actually even played against or if I have, I just don't remember anyone special from couple games so I could list them here with other, more valid names. What I'm glad about is that I have not just forwards on my list but Dmen and goalies as well. And yes, it took a while to create the list but I think it would be fun to see how the community sees the whole MVP case. EDIT: I will try to write something about my picks later this week - like why I did choose this guy from this team even though there's more scoring players in his team than my pick is.

How many seasons does it take when the possible potential shows up? Mosse is Marcel Hossa of the scene - has been for months now and will be for years! If he was @MCH_98's brother nobody would even know his name.

Guys, I'm pretty sure nobody hates you. You're great team, hell, one of the best teams of nextgen and NHLGamer era. That just doesn't give you any special treatment when such things needs to be decided. It's nothing personal - unless you want it to be like that.
-
Back-up players? HAR5KI and Januri? First is just Harski who is pure fill player on your roster and Januri is in the army. Cut the bullshit and stop blaming others for your issues. JohtajaVirtanen played in playoffs but sometimes you need more than one guy, or more than 6 players, to play this god damn game. Get real boys.

There are so many teams that are trying to upgrade their team, and even more teams that should do it but for some reason they are not doing it. Here's one low profile guy you should definitely try out if you want to make your team better - especially in Pro, and why not in Elite as well. I know that TIKI's defense might have not been in the spotlight for certain reasons but give this guy a chance and you'll see why he has been playing in the Elite for few seasons now. Good luck vesku!

EU Clubs looking for players - PlayStation 5 & Xbox Series X|S
vSilenttio replied to Robsom's topic in EASHL Teams
SIKA needs #1 center for ECL6 Pro. We play almost every night so that is what we want from you as well. Also some experience from playing the middle lane would be nice. We have already talked about couple tryouts in the upcoming weeks so if interested in any level, contact me and @imosi here in NHLGamer asap. Thanks. -

More and more bluescreens (game crashing). Was it EA's official announcement when they said something about game crashing that it's not their fault. Still, somehow - NHL is the only game that keeps crashing for me at least.
-
Damn - no need to write my own feedback message as you summed my thoughts up pretty well. Game speed in EASHL is good for me but I get the point there. There's some fixing needed obviously but as an package I think they can't do better game with this engine. It's fine and all but there's way too many buts to call this (beta) good. Me and the angry @The_Alpha_Furyan will talk about the Beta in the next episode of ECL Talk which will be out this Sunday.

What do you guys about this? For me it looks like clear save but for some reason, goalie (stand-up) does an weird animation for shot like that from that far away and oops, it's in the net. It's a good shot obviously but still, goals like these shouldn't be allowed if EA wants to take the NHL gaming as an whole to the next level. Obviously it's not the first goal like that where goalie is in there but the shot goes in anyways thanks to some weird animation or then the puck just hits the goalie (save) and after that, bounces in. I get these goals in real life hockey but in versus gaming - hell no. Opinions? Bad 'tending or thank you EA? nhl18beta_slapshotgoal.mp4

This topic will be NHLGamer's official feedback/discussion topic for the NHL 18 Beta. Share us your thoughts on the Beta here; what is good, what is bad, what is working and what is not. Is the defensive skill stick working and how about those new dekes? Then I'm hearing that the goaltending is different somehow - sure looks like faster/smoother, what do our goalies think? And then there's this thing called "L1"... How about the fact that we're going to play with the same engine for another year before the Frostbite arrives to NHL gaming? If you have videos or pics about some new, weird or cool stuff, please share them here as well! Every opinion and thought will be much appreciated. Lets get the feedback rolling, peeps!

Howdy, Gamers! We told you earlier this week that there was going to be one more cool thing released before the NHL 18 Beta kicks off next Tuesday and here it is! Well, at least we think it's cool. NHLGamer Presents: ECL Talk is our brand new podcast program for the official ECL news, trades and other things that are associated with NHL gaming. How does it work then, you might ask. Basically, it's about two passionate NHL gamers talking about what is going on around NHLGamer - and sometimes outside of it. We have two hosts: @The_Alpha_Furyan and I, @vSilenttio, and we might have some guests with us talking about stuff in the future. As we tell the latest news and other things that are going on, we're also giving our personal opinions on things. We would like to emphasize that the things we say are not official words of NHLGamer - we just tell our opinions as individual gamers. Anyways, give us a listen and find out yourself if it's your thing or not! If you enjoy it, be sure to subscribe to our channel and give the video a thumbs up! PS: We're working on improving the technical quality of the series in the future. Until next time, have a nice day!

Good evening, Gamers! It's now time for the Summer Cup Semifinals as we only have four teams remaining in the competition. It seems like all the big dogs (the top 4 of the regular season) have already been eliminated from the playoffs! However, the whole Summer Cup has been pretty even from start to this point, so I'm not sure if there are any underdogs in this competition. Anyways, here are the results of Round 2: NG Club Kannunkulma vs. NG Cheap Shot: 1-3NG Parolan Visa vs. NG International Army: 2-3NG Nighthawks vs. NG Trashers: 3-0NG 50 Shades of Blades vs. NG Alcohology: 3-0 The remaining two match-ups are very interesting to follow as both pairs have one clear favorite team (NG Nighthawks & NG 50 Shades of Blades) to get the chance to win those free copies of NHL18, while both less favored teams (NG Cheap Shot & NG International Army) fought for their playoff spots pretty much until the very last days of the regular season. However, they both have a great playoff-run behind them and we're pretty sure that they are not ready to give up just because their opponents might have had stronger seasons so far - at least on paper. The match-ups for the semifinals are: NG Nighthawks (5) - NG Cheap Shot (15) NG 50 Shades of Blades (6) - NG International Army (14) Stay tuned for one more cool thing before the Beta arrives - I can promise that it's something that people have been asking us to do. But before that - good luck everyone and have a nice week! @vSilenttio for NHLGamer.com

Violation of Rules - Game reports (PleeMaker & Selezny)
vSilenttio commented on l-Furyan-l's record in Summer Cup
We got informed about this case during weekend - that sentence might be little bit misleading, I admit that one. However, doesn't change that the actual violation happened long time before our contact. Obviously, we could have acted better/faster here. Sorry for this part - my bad! Repeated user error offenses and delayed game reporting are two, totally different things. Delayed game reporting is when you don't report your games in time. The user error simply concerns a situation where someone is leaving "sloppy" game reports in which there are continued, easily avoidable mistakes that leaves faulty stats. So what is your point? That we should have separate rules for playoffs, or what? Good to hear that you're man of principles - sadly it wasn't like that with your game reporting. What about the draft? The Summer Cup schedule will be as long as we thought it would be - the last week of the Playoffs will be the same week when the NHL18 Beta will be out. What about the result? With that logic, we could have only ending results from the games & playoffs and that would be it. Väinö, LA -

NHLGamer Presents: Staff Hangout *updated*
vSilenttio commented on l-Furyan-l's record in SportsGamer
It's nice to know that I'm not alone with this! Thank you for the support. And guys, just to make clear, Staff Meeting at Kenu's Villa already happened couple weeks ago. -
SIKA will continue it's long journey in the next season of ECL Pro. Our last season in the ECL Elite was incomprehensibly bad - and there's lots of reasons for that as so many unexpected things just happened before and during the season. To be honest, I think the relegation will be good for us as now we seriously need to step back into it as you really cant win anyone, or lets say anything big, these days if you're not 100% into it. You just need the whole package to be good, to be out there for your team and to have fun and that's not something what we were doing in the last season of ECL. SIKA will get back to Elite - at least I hope so. Thanks for having us again in the competition and have a nice summer everyone!
