    JYP is looking for a starting LD and starting OR 1A/1B goalie for the upcoming game NHL22. Most of the time we play from Sunday to Thursday. We rarely (if at all) play Fri or Sat. We're looking for - and we cannot stress this enough - for players that are willing to commit for the full year. Otherwise, we aren't interested. Contact indi969 or tbnantti on PSN, Discord or here on NHLGamer. Reasons behind the message: Sandro can only play a few times a week. Swag has recently moved and his internet connection is not stable. That's why he didn't play in FCL. Sile has informed us we are free to look for a starting LD to replace him as he can't commit to the level of activity required atm.

    Matchfixing? If some teams want to fix a match it doesn't matter what system is used. If you're referring to the fact that both teams would be content with securing 1p to clinch a playoff spot or whatever, both the 2-1-0 and 3-2-1-0 allow that and it's fairly common in pro sports -> teams go into the match with a more defensive mindset. I think suggesting someone will fix a match is a bit farfetched.

    I calculated last season's regular season standings with the 3-2-1-0 system back when this was last discussed. 1. LHC 75 2. JYP 74 3. HAVU 74 4. hREDS 57 5. UB 51 6. Brayce 47 7. Roots 47 8. FBK 39 9. Vesa 38 10. KOVA 37 11. Ghetto 35 12. SJ 34 13. Checkmate 33 14. Luleå 30 15. Gotham 29 16. AF 20 If you compare the standings to the actual ECL10 standings, you can see that not a whole lot changed. The same 8 teams would have made the playoffs and the same teams would have occupied the relegation spots. The only anomaly in the standings is Checkmate, who actually finished 9th with 9 wins in OT out of their 13 wins. I'm sure you could replicate these results with the previous seasons as well, so it doesn't really make a difference.

    I don't care either way, I'll buy whichever console the scene is on. However, having played through two different generations both on the 360 side and the PS4 side of things, I do think XBL is a vastly superior service to PSN. On the subjective side of things, my all time favorite controller has been the 360 one, and I do think they took a step back by making the Xbox One sticks too tall and hard as a diamond. I had an Xbox One for a while and ended up shaving the skin off my thumbs with the pattern they have on the sticks. Although I guess one could say you don't have to ram the sticks like they owe you money. #softthumbsconfirmed EDIT: @Juizki you do know about the quick menu that you can bring up by holding down on the PS button, right?

    Could you elaborate on this? The playoffs would still work the same way. The major advantage of finishing first comes to play in the semifinal match-ups, not in the first round.

    I don't really care which way points are counted as the better teams will still prevail and the worse teams won't. I don't really know if the assumption that "teams play it safe" is correct either. If it is an even match-up with teams battling for the same position, why would you want to give points to the opponent rather than deny them of points by winning in regular time? And if the skill gap is bigger (top vs bottom), the worse team would still try to salvage at least a point. One solid argument for a 3p win is that there would be the same amount of points up for grabs in each game, regardless of whether or not it goes to OT. But as I said, I'm indifferent on the topic.

    Like I said, I agree that it's dumb that people take their frustration out at you because you can't do anything about it. It's not an ideal situation for anyone but people will have to cope with the cards they're dealt.

    It is completely warranted and understandable for people to be annoyed that they have to play games on an inferior server and it has nothing to do with your nationality or "race". Sending messages like that is over the top, but I do understand why people would prefer someone else to get promoted if it means playing games with a better connection. I do agree with what you have said but it slightly annoys me when the suggestion is that it's racism when it clearly isn't.

    I think it's quite arrogant to come up with such a passive-aggressive comment after some criticism that most of the Lite-community feels is warranted. While the community appreciates all the content you guys put out, it's not the first time these write-ups elicit reactions that question whether or not the writers even follow the league.
