First game of the day going on atm. Career high packet loss, 4%.

Yesterday was easily the best day for a long time. First game had like 3% packet loss and at some point it even started to feel unplayable first time during the problem. Couple really huge lag spikes. But after that, rest of the evening (maybe 5 games?) went without any problems. 0% packet loss and zero weird occasional micro-stutters. It's so weird idk what's going on. Had phone call with DNA yesterday. They doubt it the problem could be at their end, suggested to check with EAs side. But they at least know about it and will keep eyes and ears open and look into it. DNA also sent me messages later yesterday, both English and Finnish. I put them here: EA is also informed about the problem and they know it and they promised to look into it.

I only wish it could be possible. Every apartment I've lived in only offers Fiber from one IPS. Previous place I was forced to use Elisa, now DNA. Only other options are 4G/5G. Just to clarify I've used DNA from 3/2022 and this is first "major" issue I face with them. It can also be EAs fault tho, so I'm not saying im disappointed to DNA or that they are dogshit. Other than this I have only positive experiences with DNA.

Thank you @Janikka. I was gonna make this thing public today aswell. What I have heard, there is many people with this issue. I have DNA Fiber connection, been working as great as possible. And it was great at least the first month of NHL 24. Something has happened after that, last couple weeks I have had 1-3% packet loss about 50% of games, I wasn't wise enough to track that it was only happening on Helsinki servers. But seems like it's connected to DNA aswell? Gonna make a phone call to there today for sure. It's not first time EA servers is having issues with Finnish ISP. Was it NHL 19 when many people was unable to even enter to EASHL game? Anyway, the packet loss is kinda shitty eventho it doesn't make game unplayable. Before they fix this, I say we should use Stockholm servers as a gentlemen rule in ECL, if there is at least 1 player with DNA. Most fair for everyone since it's not to players to decide what ISP they use when they want Fiber/wired. I have high hopes they will get fixed it asap tho. At least if we spread the word and give them a pressure. And what @OGjahajaha said, couple of my friends have reported that weird occasional micro-stutters aswell. They had Elisa. And zero packet loss. They don't remember what server it was when this happened. But seems like the problem is the Helsinki server?

As you said it by yourself, it's obvious different positions has different feelings of the game. I don't mind CQ, with or without, I can't score anyway. That's probably why I don't find it too OP, but I know what you mean. Trust me, I'm trying to think the whole game in general, not just traits that benefit myself. I'm probably gonna try RD from now on, but I still would prefer to have fe. Truc. banned. I totally understand Goalies point of view about CQ. My opinion, ban or not, I'm fine with it. But yeah for everyone it's just the personal feeling and experience and you get different pros and cons by playing different positions. In my text I just took the ones that has made me the biggest "yikes" effects so far. I guess the biggest question is, if you take BT, CQ and 1T off, can you score anymore? Well Sile made Sauna Cup without abilities happen so we will maybe see there. Eventho Goalies can't use abilities either, it might give some kind of picture.

If you decide to ban some X-factor(s), then it should be both Gold and Silver. Nothing between, bc there's no point otherwise. For me the point of banning some traits would be making the game more enjoyable, as (Aaro fe.) mentioned above. I haven't heard anyone to blame traits or x-factors after the loss or as a reason of being a bad player. Game is always same for both sides, with or without bans. Anyway, my Top3 would be Truculence+Unstoppable Force and Big Tipper. Truc+UF basicly just counters each other, so that's why both. NA actually were the first ones to ban stuff to try to make already bad EA product to little bit more enjoyable. I would say they were the forerunners with this. And if you desire to bring EU and NA even closer to each other in future, we should cooperate with the x-factor bans if there's any. So the game or rules are the same on both sides of the sea. P.S. Also would be interesting to see how the game would run with only Elite Edges allowed. Probably 0-0 games incoming, maybe need some Sile Sauna Cup for one weekend to see how it goes.

HAVU GAMING After a little disappointing ECL 11 season we are facing some changes and we are aiming to build a team which will be back in the top, playing in the finals and being able to win the Championship in Elite. We want to make a starting lineup with players who share the same activity, goals and hungery to develope our game through the season to be able to achieve our best level when the games matter the most. I like to be honest and open-minded with you, since the rumors spread fast and we don't want to mislead you guys. So for now, @willekunq will step back and serve as a backup in upcoming tournaments. Also @Hansulinho will be probably going back to the goalie zone and share the spot with @SibeIius. We are already having some discussions about who is going to be our LW and it's not a suprise for you who we are dealing with. For now, we are waiting for the decision from that part. So, we are mainly looking for new starting RD, but new C/RW is not out of the picture if it feels like it will be the best solution for us. Me myself & our dear assistant captain @Dominointi are not afraid to step down to the D-zone if it's best for the team in a long run. For sure. I'm not sure tho if there's fair system for this "super skilled and super competitive" NHL game. There's pros and cons in every one of them. For me the ENCE EKI's first message in the old topic has still value. Win is win and the games are very short. Thats why I still support the current system. But anyhow, only Elite players and teams should be able to make decisions what happens in Elite. Because of license, prizepool, etc. Pro/Lite/Neo sure can do whatever they want imo, but you need separate polls then. Public poll inlcuding every skill level doesn't have so much value for me in this kind of case.

HAVU GAMING You might wonder why I'm writing to here, it's not because @Eemil left the tree house. To be honest with all of you, I'm writing here because we might face a "little" changes in our team, what comes to the starting lineup. It's not 100% sure yet, but you know how these things work. If you don't know, let me tell you. We are playing for big finnish organisation and ECL (?) is probably right around the corner, so of course you need to set up an additional plan, if things don't go as expected. We want to know our options already, so we don't screw up this and be too late if we need new forces. So, what we are POSSIBLY looking for? Either, 1) Starting LW or 2) Starting G Hopefully in next two & half weeks we will know 100% if one of positions above will be open for you.
