  1. Free F for SCL as well. From Latvia so that's a minority nation. Starter or backup, both fine
  2. Frostbite made FIFA's gameplay less enjoyable for a lot of people when they switched over to it a couple years ago, so I don't really see where all the demand for it comes from. Yeah, it makes the game look nicer, but I don't think that's a priority for the NHL franchise at the moment. They probably looked at it and decided it wasn't worth the effort and resources to switch over which is understandable given how little the NHL dev team has to work with. If you are eager to see a switch to a different engine, I think the next couple years are your best bet to see that happen.
  3. Congrats to LHC for the impressive comeback! Also, it would be cool if there were highlights from the series so that the people who didn't get the chance to watch all the games could catch up on the action
  4. Free C/RW/LW for upcoming tournaments. // Latvian looking for a team (preferably pro div) that focuses on fast, simple passing style of play. type of player who can make a between the legs no look bank saucer through 4 guys and around 10 sticks, but will as well pass the puck to a covered teammate when 1-on-1 with the goalie. contact me either here or on PSN for a quicker response
  5. I had encountered this situation many a time in NHL 19 and did some extensive testing and what I found out is: since the introduction of the Stockholm server, the EU NHL player base is divided into 2 parts: Central Europe (those who are closer to the server in Ireland i.e. players from Germany, Switzerland France, UK, etc.) and Eastern/Northern Europe (those who are closer to the recently introduced Stockholm server i.e. players from Finland, Sweden Norway, Russia, Latvia, etc.) If you play on dedicated servers (HUT/3v3/6v6) then you will mostly get games connecting to the server that the majority of the team is closer to. From my experience, 3 Central EU players and 3 Northern EU players still got matched with Central EU opponents in 6v6. The problem for Central EU players is that there are way less teams from there in comparison to Northern EU so finding games is tough and you might spend the whole night playing the same opponent. For some reason switching the game location to relaxed isn't really a solution since you will match with North Americans more often than not. I submitted a question in the recent producer tour Q&A if we could get the ability to choose the server we connect to, and the producer replied with something along the lines of: yeah, sure, why not, let's do that. But that likely won't fix the ping issues @Virtual_Saku and others are having. Two (not all that likely) solutions I see for this are either to introduce a more central server somewhere in the north of Germany or Denmark, or to somehow grow the Central EU player base.
  6. Probably start with the archives of previous leagues, ecl all-time stats
  7. I would really like to see the data behind their decision to implement modes like Pro-am and Ones that (at least for everyone I know) die off in the first week and are never touched again. Looking at all the EA NHL social media responses, every second comment you see is along the lines of "No GM connected, I'm not buying this game". Seems like a GM connected mode would be way more popular than Ones and that it would be a better use of resources to develop GMC rather than Ones (not saying right now but back in 2018 when they had to make the decision which mode to create for NHL 19), but maybe the actual statistics tell a whole different story.
  8. 1. more of a suggestion than a question but please let us manually choose which server to connect to when matchmaking. 2. what determines if a high sticking penalty is 2 or 4 minutes? 3. could we get a precise description of what every player stat (off. awareness, discipline, etc.) does? 4. to quote tanski, goalie pull 6th player controlled by human. When, and why not now? 5. occasionally the idea that you should go to the bench to recharge your energy gets brought up. What does the dev team think of this concept? bonus question: what do devs think of the state of stick lift right now? at times the game looks more like star wars than hockey
  9. It's a good idea but you then have to come up with answers to questions such as where do you place new teams that have some skilled players already and is the climb from lite to elite gonna be too long and discourage some clubs from joining, etc.
  10. NHL 19 starting 6: LW - Vilupoika - One of the most lethal forwards in the game. Haven't faced him much this year but the few times I have come up against him, he always finds a way to score. Has exceptional creativity & skill. ------------------------ C - Dominointi - This guy has been elite for quite some time now and this year it looks like he's found the right team with the right chemistry and improved his game even more. Always a very tough match-up for any center in the league. ------------------------ RW - FlyerKungen - So tight between him and Eki (as close to a tie as it gets) but I have to give this to "eKungen" for winning 3 out of the last 4 tournaments he's played in and making many many finals appearances this year. It's not easy to go from elite to the best but I think he did that this year. ----------------------- LD - Gzell60 - Maybe an unexpected pick, but for me he's one of the best offensive D-men out there. Near impossible to get the puck off of him and he always finds the open pass for a good scoring chance. ------------------------ RD - willekunq - As solid as it gets. Great all-around player with not a lot of weaknesses. Extremely reliable defenseman that doesn't make a lot of mistakes and one that every team would like to have on their roster. ------------------------ G - Hansulinho - Just wow. LAN beast. Don't get to play a lot of games against him cause Sky/Havu only play against 💸 opponents but perhaps that's a blessing in disguise cause every game against mr.Burns is bound to be a frustrating night for even the best of forwards. Honorable mention: RW - NikkeDangles - Watch out for this kid...
  11. Make it so you can cancel a saucer pass without doing a one hand tuck every time (I didn't try it in beta, just know that it's in nhl 19) Pucks go over the boards too much Need to get rid of the poke animation where you press R1 and he does a super slow motion poke check which is a penalty 99% of the time Also need to drastically reduce tripping penalties when the puck is between the attacker and the defender (e.g. 1v1 zone entrance without L2)
  12. thats when the draft will reach halfway
  13. Doesn't look like 2019 is Eki's year so far Still, well played by Havu & especially Brenti "Hansulinho" Burnsi
  14. i think there is a bit of confusion because some people interpret #1 as non-elite captains can pick two elite players in the first 2 rounds, which is not the case. (by the way it is written in the article, i can see how someone would confuse that.) But it should be worded as such: Captains in the first two rounds get to pick one player from each of the two divisions that they do not play in. So then every team after round 2 should have 1 elite, 1 pro, 1 lite player. my vote is with #1 because why not try something different.
  15. no practice mode in EASHL was confirmed by the way 😥
  16. up next: continental championship league 🤣
  17. Small change, but still would be nice if they got rid of the smoke in the background of the World of Chel menu that makes my ps4 become louder than an airplane
  18. good luck finding a game to anyone who is even a tiny bit recognizable 🤣
