We're happy to have you join one of our leagues or tournaments, great that you are setting up your own team! After youy've got your squad together, there's a few steps you'll need to take in order to join. Keep in mind that you need to register for every league or tournament separately. 1) As the captain of your team, you'll follow a registration link to the team registration page, which is pictured below. At this point, you'll either choose to register with a previous team of yours, or with a new team, which you'll be able to search for in the search box to the right. Make sure you select the correct team, that should correspond to your teams real EASHL name. 2) Next up, you'll add the abbreviation of your team and assign the captains. Please make sure to check with the assistant captains that they agree to take on the position before assigning them that role. 3) Now your team is registered, but you'll still need to invite all the players to your roster before you're ready to go! Invite players to your roster by typing their gamertag or email address in the search box and sending them the invitation. Make sure all players accept the invitation. 4) This is how your roster should look like when you're done. Now you're ready to get the action started!

I have agreed to join a team, how do I get on their roster?
iRSPe posted a record in Getting Started
You can join a team when the team captain has invited you to the team. The team Captain needs to invite players to the team on a tournament-by-tournament basis so the invitation must be accepted at the beginning of each league season/tournament. If the invitation is from a team you are familiar with, you can press ACCEPT. You cannot leave a team whose request you have accepted (except by asking the captain to remove you - depending on tournament rules in question), so it is important that you only accept a pre-arranged invitation. From the image below you can see what the team invitation looks like on the SportsGamer front page. If you're looking to get in contact with teams looking for players, we suggest you to post yourself as a free agent in the assigned forum thread here (EU PlayStation), here (NA Xbox) or here (NA PlayStation). -
We offer players a few ways they can find a team for themselves. You can make a free agent forum post You can check for clubs looking for players or you can join the SportsGamer Discord below are links to different platforms and regions: Free agents looking for clubs Teams looking for players

All of our new tournaments will be published as news stories on our front page, so the best way to stay up to date is to follow along closely. We suggest you check our newsfeed and the "Leagues" tab on the main page to determine which leagues are currently running and if you would be eligible to join any of them. Here's how that would look: Keep in mind that most leagues do have some kind of transfer deadlines or restrictions, so even if they are in progress you might not be able to join in the middle of the action. If you aren't eligible to join a league right away, you can post in the free agents thread here (EU PlayStation), here (NA Xbox) or here (NA PlayStation). We'd also like to have you on our Discord server, where you can ask for help and look for casual games!

If that is the case, it gives us the best chance to pass it on to the fitting department where your ticket will get solved. Such information can be: Match information (link to game, name of both teams, league, group…) Screenshots Links Videos (with accurate time stamps) We will only pass forward the tickets which are ready with the necessary information to be handled by the next department. Incoming tickets are usually responded to within 24-48 hours and are either forwarded or requested for more information about the case. Sending a new request will not make handling any faster!

Hi, NHLGamers! ECL 9 Elite season is just around the corner and you might have seen there were only 15 sign ups in ECL Elite. There is a need for one extra team in Elite and regarding this matter we leaned towards the rule book. The following rule was used to solve this matter: ”… If after this there are still spots to be filled in Elite, the best two teams from either pool (Elite relegates & Pro quarter-finalists) will play each other. These teams will be seeded based on points during the last season and wins in the most recent playoffs respectively. If, however, there are more spots to be filled than just one, a mini tournament can be announced, if there is enough time for it to be played out in full. In the latter case, League Administration will decide on the method best suited for the time available.” We contacted teams by order and the two best seeded ECL 8 Elite relegated teams (Resurrection and Synergy Hockey) accepted to play for the spot. Next we moved to the ECL 8 Pro quarterfinalists. We contacted the two best seeded teams (Gotham Knights and Mentula SKA), out of which Gotham Knights were up for the challenge, whereas Mentula SKA unfortunately had disbanded. The Next Gen was next in line but they were disbanded as well. The last option was SIKA but they did not respond to our communication. Thus the Wildcard Series will be organized between three teams. Tournament format The Wildcard series will be determined by a best-of-three double elimination tournament: 1) We start with two teams meeting up 2) Winner of that match-up faces the third team 3) Loser of the first matchup faces the loser of the second matchup 4) Winner of the loser matchup faces the winner from matchup 2 5) If the above is won by the undefeated team, it's all over and we have our winner. 6) If the loser in the pair above is a team who only lost for the first time the teams play another BO3. 7) At the latest, we have our winner here. Schedule Sunday 10.11.2019 21:00 CET Synergy Hockey vs Resurrection BO3 2-0 ------------- Monday 11.11.2019 19:30 CET Synergy Hockey vs Gotham Knights BO3 2-1 21:30 CET Losers' finals BO3 Resurrection vs Gotham Knights 0-2 ------------- Tuesday 12.11.2019 20:30 CET Finals Synergy Hockey vs Gotham Knights BO3 22:00 CET The 2nd Final if needed BO3 The first BO3 series between Synergy Hockey and Resurrection was streamed and can be viewed below:

How many ECL divisions should there be?
iRSPe replied to ahonaattorii's topic in SportsGamer Feedback & Questions
I'm glad to see that there is so many future Elite teams coming to Lite next season! It will be interesting to watch how many of those will dig their way out after ~8 playoff rounds 😂 I think the best option could be: Elite: 16 Pro: 32 Semi: 32 (Lite top 20, relegated teams from Pro and Elite teams) Lite: 50+ -
1. Would be fun to see 1st picks from each league.
