We’re now ready to share the final ECL ’26: Spring prize pool numbers, including how the total prize pool was calculated and how it is distributed across the divisions.

This update is being published later than originally intended, and we apologize for the delay. The timing of this communication did not affect the prize pool calculation or the amount allocated to players. The figures below are final and reflect the completed Spring season.
 

How the ECL ’26: Spring Prize Pool Was Calculated

The ECL prize pool model for the NHL 26 cycle is based on a simple and transparent principle:

35% of NET license sales are returned directly to the players as prize money.

Here’s how the Spring ’26 prize pool was formed:

• ➕ ECL ’26: Spring license sales (incl. VAT): €47,130.00
  • ➖ VAT (25.5%): –€9,576.22
  • ➖ Payment processing fees (PayPal): –€1,569.48
  • ➕ Allocated to Spring from Full Year Player Licenses: €9,438.24

🟰 Spring ’26 NET sales: €45,422.54

➡️ 35% of NET sales allocated to prize pools: €15,897.89

This amount is fully dedicated to Spring ’26 prize pools across all ECL divisions.

The total prize pool is distributed between divisions based on participation, competitive level, and season structure.
