  5. I would actually put all pressure on Kenu in this one. We had 4 straight wins against this team before this legendary dangler entered the ice. But he still only have one foot, so it can also be a reason why we lost. rematch tonight!

  14. Unknown - ECL Pride KenuFHR from Kattiautomaatti A great two-way player with a lot of experience. I first met him in NHL12 at Xbox360 when he still played for FHR Punakone (I guess?). He did his first games with Unknown tonight and he will for sure be important for us in the upcoming season, both on and off the ice. Welcome @Kenu!

  18. Ins and outs Out: Gustafsson7 has been with Sjukstugan since the dawn_angel off the 360`s. He has grown from a glitching litte rascal to the amazingly wunderschöön Brunkare he is today. Thank you for countless off laughs and great nights playing and talking. Our paths probably will meet again, but till then, it has been an absolute privilege and honour for you. That Synergy was next in line for Olof was kind off obvious since Pelle3000 had been speaking to Olof`s father years back when Olof was in regular school. Rumor has it they have been planning this deal many years back. Rimpe37 the great vs player made his ECL debut helping Sjukstugan advance to Elite for next season with 17 goals and 45 points in 22 games. A great teamplayer who master all 3 offensive position and allways chipped in points and great spirit. Valar Morghulis, Sjukstugan thank you. Here by your watch has ended. Filariou the little Zlatan came to us like it was written in the stars to have an absolut crucial role helping Sjukstugan to Elite. Scoring 23+23 in 16 games in regular season followed by 30+15 in 22 games in the playoffs he was our leading offesive player. Youre great and best off luck in Dynasty along with... The alpha furyan who was dominating the offense from his D position and in the playoff lead all defenders in points with 4 goals and 24 helpers in 22 games. 11 points before second player, including GWG in game 7 against Kattiautomati which meant promotion. This guy is terrific both on the screen and in your ears. The best off luck to you sir. Ins: SadaPoika played last ECL in Written scoring 14+29 over 28 games. Truly gifted player that brings us a new LW Finn to score our goals. GMBonn and Sada also played summer cup in the same team. Very welcome Sada. Wanna win, have a Finn. Pippo1891 chears for one truly great team, AC Milan. And now also Sjukstugan. From Nordic Lightning had 2.37 gaa last season and 1.50 the season before and now he is here. Amazingly good add to our Goalies that now contains Lastmandalorian, Pippo1891 and the very overpaid lazyass Crono. Klingen45, eyebiz wide shut. There is a second coming off Dolph Lundgren i Sjukstugan. King-Kling scored 17+19 in 19 games for Nordic Lightning last season and now he takes LD too play alongside... JaikenK "Jaiken e klar" lastmandalorian shouted out loud when he read the news. A Sjukstugan "ball of farmer" that played just like King-Kling and Maldini last ECL with our good friends in Nordic Lightning. The Yellow King is back. Gustafsson7 -->Synergy, Filariou & the alpha furyan -->Dynasty. Rimpe--> ??? Pippo1891, klingen45, JaikenK <--Nordic Lightning. Sadapoika <--Written in the stars

  19. From goalie's perspective: I was really hoping (like I've done for years now) that EA would take this game in the direction where goalies get rewarded really well for being in position (and maybe even knowing when to go into butterfly and when to standup),but in meantime goalies would get punished unforgivenly for being out of position. Instead, we see goalies making huge saves while being out of position, maybe even on the wrong side of the net. In addition, goalies who are squared off to the shooter and actually take away the shot angles are getting beat by snipes, deflections, sloppy ass shots and all that great stuff. I think it's just those few things EA should do and it'd change the goalies' game dramatically and we could see real difference on the skill level of the goalies. Instead of having goalies that are bad and who are good, we could actually classify goalies horrible, bad, decent, good, incredible. But as of right now, it's really hard to standout as a goalie in this game and have some recognition unless you play for a top notch team. Plus the goalies' game book is still the same: find that one thing that works and abuse it. Whether it is about sitting in a butterly 24/7 or standing up the whole game, for the past 3-5 NHL games it's been all about finding that one stupid trick to be a top level goalie instead of actually learning how to use your goalie's skill set. And yes goalies do have a skill set, it might be quite limited but it really exists, it's just not needed in the game as it's either about standup only or butterfly only.

  21. Here are nine players who come to mind right now. I have excluded all current teammates from SIKA and former longtime teammates from the Finnish Roosters. I've also excluded goalies, because there's a separate thread for those and what do I know about goalies, anyway? This list is based mainly on the players' recent form in ECL 4 and regular EASHL games that I've witnessed personally. Centers Dominointi: I perceive this guy as a two-way center with a victorious (R.I.P. VSH) playing style. He makes the game easier for his team. Shift after shift and game after game, Dominointi keeps making all the right decisions on the ice. Patzlaf: one of the toughest forwards to defend against, for sure. Excellent vision. Playing against him you really aught to mind those passing lanes, because Patzlaf needs little time and he will find his teammates. Bjono: "underrated" comes to mind. Then again, I don't really know how he's rated around here. I see him as an elite center in both ends of the ice. Bjono is also quite the tactician. He's one of those guys who's thinking of the game in depth and will adjust as needed. Wingers Joukki: Joukki is no joke with the puck. Hailing from a class of young stars with twitchy thumbs like PleeMaker (who, by the way, would surely be on this list had I not recused myself earlier), Penatski and Ape, Joukki has carved his name into the elite by combining raw individual skill with smart team play. It's no wonder his contribution has resulted in a number of consecutive ECL finals for his team. Now if only he could squeeze just four more wins out of a tournament... itspardytime: if anyone were to care about my list at all, I suspect this might be my most controversial pick. I see "pardy" as one of the greatest offensive threats in the game. His importance to Tiki Talk cannot be overstated. To say that pardy is offensively minded to the detriment of his defensive game may be putting it lightly, but I see him as the biggest reason why any game against Tiki Talk needs to be taken seriously. Foppatofflan: one of the quickest minds on the ice, Foppatofflan is a treat for any linemate. His lightning fast game sense tends to ensure plenty of scoring chances for his team. One night I got to see him in action playing on the same team, and it was quite amazing to watch. Foppatofflan seems always aware of his next move, and as a defenseman trying to shut him down, I must confess that it can get very difficult to keep up. Defensemen Terasniska: it's only a few nights that I've paired with "Sniska" on defense, but the impression is such that I didn't hesitate to include him. From what I've seen, he's like a factory machine pumping out one perfect play after another. If EA made the bot defensemen really unfair, they just might model them after this guy. nylanderi: a defenseman with tour de force moves who's bound to be a decisive factor in games. A young guy who plays with emotion, which is an aspect that elevates his game at best and hampers it at worst. His highest level may just be unequaled. Rullstolskalas: the legendary "Rulle" has been ruining opponents' games for as long as I can remember. I've heard he's a man of not just few but in fact no words at all. Apparently, the guy just sits there in the party, listening, focused on doing what he knows best: getting in the mind of the opponent carrying the puck into NOS' defensive zone, and denying the fool who thought to even try. Back in my days with the Finnish Roosters, "Fucking Rulle!" was an expression I heard countless times from the mouth of my dear Johtaja. Rullstolskalas is like a force of nature: with the same pressing inevitability by which day turns into night, Rullstolskalas will take the puck away from you.
