  1. UPDATE: Please only report games which your team played at home for now. If you played away, do not report anything. Keep screenshots for game overview and individual stats as backup at any time! Hey NHL Gamers, If anyone of you was thinking we stopped working on the website after releasing it's new design, you were blatantly wrong As always, our technical mastermind @Lurkins has been brewing fine stuff in the background, and today we are releasing some more of it to the public: Our EA SPORTS Stats API. We have been in contact with game developers about this some time ago, and I want to use this opportunity for a shoutout to them for their quick support in this matter. What's an API? What this new tool allows us to do is fetch stats of challenge games directly from EA's servers, and it will save you a great amount of work when reporting games. We will add most of the game's details including individual player stats automatically for you, however there is still some manual work involved as EA does not give us all the details at this stage. What do I need to add manually? We require you to enter time on attack, amount of penalties as well as all goal events (including times, scorers and assistants) and penalty events (including times, affected players and penalty reasons). Of course you still need to submit a press conference. Important things to note MAKE SURE YOUR PROFILE CONTAINS THE CORRECT PSN ID. We can only match IDs that are available and correct, obviously. Matches need to be played via the "Challenge Club" feature. Drop in games or the recently added PIN matchmaking won't show up. HOME CAPTAIN reports the game for both teams. The away captain should not report anything. This means the home captain always needs to report all of the opponent's stats and events in addition to their own team. The other team's captain can use the tool to submit their press conference afterwards, everything else will already be there. This tool can currently only be used for games which were not disconnected! We are able to track those, and it won't allow you to report anything for these (this will be improved in the future). For disconnected games, you need to use the old tool, which will be highlighted noticeably on the API page like this: Demonstration video by @gzell60 Can I still use the old tool to report games which ended without a disconnect? Technically yes, however you won't be able to submit individual player stats. Do not use the old tool anymore, as it will be depleted as soon as we are able to take care of disconnected games in a good way. Where do I access the API? The new tool will be available from the main page via PS4 Team Tools -> Add match (EA API). The old tool will be linked on the next page in case you need to report a game which was disconnected. Let's hear from your opinions after tonight's games - see you on the ice! NHLGamer.com

  4. Good afternoon, NHLGamers! At 14:11 of the first period in the ECL 4 game between Aapon Taikasauva and Dynasty, indi969(Sven Tuuba) initiated a challenge for a fight with Dynasty's jumalpeku(EVGENI BULJUJÄRVI). This happened right before the face-off and as such is in violation of the following rules: --- 8. Game rules "Players are not allowed to challenge for a fight before a faceoff nor against a player who is either in possession of the puck, or would be the first one reaching a loose puck. Note, however, that if a player delivers a big hit, gets the puck and the fight challenge comes up, the opposing team is allowed to take the fight, because the player delivering the hit is regarded as initiating the fight challenge." --- 6.Fair Play ""Fair Play" is the most essential rule in regards to any games carried out within a tournament on NHLGamer.com. In general, "Fair Play" describes the act of treating your opponent the way you would like to be treated. This includes communication, but also any actions which are directly or indirectly related towards on-ice action. To give you an idea of what to avoid to comply with this Fair Play rule, here are a few examples: Do not attack your opponent with abusive language Do not exploit game mechanics or bugs to put your opponent at a disadvantage (e.g. do not make use of any player stats exploits, de-sync glitches, freezes or similar) Do not distract your opponent from playing the game (e.g. do not spam messages, do not call your opponent while he is in-game or similar) Disregarding the Fair Play rule will lead to disciplainary action depending on the kind of infraction. Less severe infractions like distractions may lead to point suspensions or game bans, while actually exploiting the game can also lead to a ban for all activities carried out on NHLGamer.com, in case the user is not interested in sharing this knowledge with League Administration. If this kind of issue comes up, League Administration will share this knowledge with EA SPORTS." --- After hearing indi969's explanation, the League Administration has determined that his intentions weren't malicious and issues him a two game suspension. As a result, indi969 won't be able to represent Aapon Taikasauva in their next two scheduled ECL games against Limitless on 27th of February. The ban is valid for this match-up only, so in case Aapon Taikasauva decide to play another opponent beforehand, the ban is not valid for that game. League Administration reminds everyone that all registered members are required to carry themselves and behave in accordance to the ECL Season 4 rules found here: - League Administration

  5. Baltic Sea Eagles is looking for a rd/ld, an active one. Old team has been re-build with many old and original players from the well-known team in xbox360. Played couple of years together and competed in the consolehockey's leagues several times as well. At the moment we are all from Finland, but it doesn't mean that you would need to be. What we want from you is being active and willing to play for the team. We are going to continue with the same roster in NHL17 as well. Message for tryouts @psn: Heksaa.
