Tuner: "Increased ability to make saves in tight to their body and decreased ability when reaching to reward better puck tracking and cutting off angles." Puck closer to torso --- Easier to save Puck further away from torso --- Harder to save This is a good thing: "No more goal line sitting" "Increased ability to make saves on cross grain shots by tuning movement so goalies will stay square even if the user is requesting to move away from the shot direction." Mixed feelings about that: Momentum after shot has been decreased so snipes should be easier to save, but one timers harder to save. It is more like tuner 1.00. "Increase save success on blocking saves." These "blocking saves" are shoulder saves. Wonder who invent blocking save -term. I don't think it was even a problem, but will take it anyway. "Decreased the impact goalie movement to help promote puck tracking so that good angles and positioning mean the most for a goalie’s ability to make a save." Not a actual tuner! : Just explanation of above tuner's. Like collection of those... "Decreased screen effect slightly." Goalie will be screened less. Note that EA adjusted atributes of skaters so resuls should be less deflect/turd goals. Good thing: As a goalie you cannot "save" those goals and EA has heard that. In theory. "Increased goalie speed for post-to-post movement." Very noticeable. Good and requested tuner. "Increased AI goalie’s awareness for a possible shot off a faceoff and increased ability to react after a save to increase their chance of getting back in position and making rebound saves." Couple of good tuner's. You cannot blame game now for your slow reactions... Next some inside detail look about goalie class updates: There is more separation between classes and attributes that has changed: These are in text format: Increased speed and agility of all goalies and added variance with Standup being the highest and Butterfly being the lowest. Increased Hybrid goalie’s recover rating so that he is now faster recovering than the Butterfly goalie. Increased rebound control of all classes. Standup goalie’s will still have the lowest rating while Butterfly goalies will have the highest. Increased poke check ability for all classes. Hybrid has the best poke check rating of the three classes and Butterfly has the lowest. Hybrid goalie now has the best stick side and paddle down rating of the three classes. Increased vision for all classes. Butterfly is still the lowest and Standup is still the highest. Increased 5-hole rating for both the Hybrid and Butterfly classes to separate them from the Standup goalie. Increased rebound control for the AI goalie class. And here are the same in picture format. Hope you find this intresting and feel free to ask something more what is still confusing about goalies.2 points

Northern Ascendancy is looking players in the following postions: RW / C / LD / RD / G... basically everything. The team is currently in the Elite division. We have players in the LW, C and RD spots, but the more players the better ofc, especially in regards to rotations and shiz. Language: Anything, I don't care, just be aware english will probably be used for general communication. Out of the current players though Swedish is the most prevalent. It should be noted however that if enough interest is not gathered, the team will become inactive for the upcoming season. Aside from that though, if you want to contact the team please feel free to PM here or message me on PSN (the username there is the same as it is here).1 point

Deleted a bunch of posts. This thread is for teams which are looking for players, not premature bitch fights. Feel free to carry them out in private messages.1 point

I learned a new Finnish word yesterday: lämäri. From what I understand, it is something that needs to be shouted everytime one shoots the puck, like this: LÄMÄRI!!!!!!1 point

Hello NHLgamers! Finnish, experienced mainly C/RW (I can also play other roles) is looking team for the next ECL season. Last season I played in Falun coal miners and that was my 3rd tournament in NHLgamer. I have been played EASHL since 2015 and NHL series since NHL 98 I guess with N64 (Ha ha). Im playing allmost everyday so activity is not a problem. What I hope from the team is that I can hone my skills, learn new things and ofc become a better player! I dont mind if I am not that FIRST center in your team if I had a chance to practice with good players who are more experienced then me. So this next season is most likely face wash for me and chance to become part of the team for long time. I can take criticism. I want you to tell me what I did wrong and what I did right thats how I learn. If you are interested, put a message and lets choose the right day for the tryout! Contact me on PSN or here in NHLgamer. See you on the ice! PSN: topikeranen1 point
