Don’t get ripped off by Player points

So I purchased player points in an effort to get a couple of high ranked players for my HUT team. Purchased a fair number which appeared to be worth the 600000 coin range. Enough to get at least one good player one would think. The highest rank player I received was an 85. I’m wondering how many other people/players encountered this experience? When I contacted EA they had an immediate response of its random and ended the conversation almost immediately. Which leads me to believe that there are others. I feel that my money was not valued as I played the game and recovered several players of this ranking. Had I known that is all that I would receive from my money I would not have gone through with this. Guaranteed 4 rare it says. In most people’s mind this would mean a high ranked player not the average ranked player you receive in the gold standard pack. Or the players you can get in the auction house for 1200 coins.
