What we expect from D -You are able to play 4 times a week between Sun-Thu ~20cet-22/23cet -You are able to communicate in games -You like to cycle the puck and play as a team (=tikitaka), we are not looking 4th forward or ballerina style of defender. Many of players were okay with last season bans so i think game was playable

Yeah there is rules like forwards can use forward builds and defenders defender builds but not bans (like in normal builds, these mascot builds ofcourse should be banned like they are) And yeah i agree with that like it doesnt make any sense like PWD is faster than most of the builds but there is still advantages in different builds. This all just start to hear like lets ban whole game and stop playing this s***. Game is what it is and we can just hope like EA would make better game in future. There is no point to play game if we are banning like 80% of things. And when we come about that NA build ban thing why we didnt banned those 183/72 builds last versions just because that forced people to use mainly PMD in defence too because there wasnt a chance to use bigger builds because of SPEED meta

That would be a joke if there would come build bans also 😂😂 lets remember the true reason why we are talking here, it was and it still is the x-factors what are breaking the game, not the ban builds and things for favor of some people who wanna play with smaller builds or own style of game for example

Yeah game is "playable" but not that fun anymore because of the lack of creativity and horrible shots. No matter how much points you are adding your build shots, they are just bad because shots are also builded around abilities. I personally do care much about abilities, at least gold ones. There has been many good points from people who i have talked with. Game tempo has went down a lot and many teams are just playing that famous turtle defence because its the most effective way to play defence atm without abilities because there is not any threat from far shots so why not. Every game feels the same force and turtle hockey, no matter which team you are playing against. Funniest thing is that like when there is no need to take care of far shots that much and team is defending tight, then some people are doing motivation carpets, just standing with a puck etc during the game because opponent is not coming to give pressure. Abilities (at least golden ones) would bring much more creativity and threats to gameplay and it forces teams to play defence much more active way than now. Im still curious to know like who is that "majority of community who wanted this awfull decision. There is plenty of people who has said like there should be at least gold abilites, even in elite division.

That DM to all participating teams from ECL winter could work too and everyone is able to give their votes inside of teams too because there can be different thoughts between own team players. So votes are going to be calculated from every player, not as a team. Good idea for option @iSvamp 👍🏻 Most important thing is that like whatever the decision is in the end, rules and bans are same in every division

Yeah there has read: "As we said in the original news story, the plan is to move away from Abilities for the Spring season, as that seems to be what the majority is asking for" but no one have said earlier like "next ECL Spring season is going to be played without abilities. So there hasnt been clear information about that yet. There can always be plans but there hasnt been any 100% confirmation about that. And like we have now seen there is people who have changed their minds about banning all because they have had time to test and see things. And i havent seen any kind of voting polls up there so who is that majority who is asking that? In these conversations there has been mainly same guys writing their opinions but that still really small part from whole community who are playing active this game and sportsgamer tournaments. And once again we are coming to that part where i personally know like many of players are afraid to take part to these conversations because there is so much offensive and toxic behaviour if you are having different opinion than some of higher division players. So imo public voting poll is only right way to solve this so we are able to get as much people as possible to take part this if we are aiming for that "majority" of people. Now that "majority" is small part from conversations or behind the scene talks. At least it feels like that.

We need to do ban decisions based on things what are breaking the game, not that way like lets ban PWF, DFD, ENF etc because someones wanna play PMD and that cant match with power etc. With that kind of move we should banned PMD:s from previous games from everyone because other people were forced to use that PMD in defence just because that was only way to match with speed of forwards. You wasnt able to play like TWD or DFD. I have played with two way defenceman in this version lately and that build is able to match with physical plays against PWD:s

I agree with all of that 100%. We have also tried games without abilities and imo it makes gameplay much more "force hockey/crash the net" than it is now already. As a dman interceptions and sticklifts are enough bad already so personally i dont need more that kind of gameplay... Without abilities there is not any kind of onetimer threats or far distance shot threats and that allows people to play that "turtle defence". Lets keep same rules/bans like in this last ECL or then keep same bans but only allow gold and/or blue versions of abilities (=ban elite versions). And if we are going to ban elite abilities then ban those elite abilities from goalies also. I hope like there will come some kind of public voting poll from sportsgamer side so everyone is having a chance to affect desicion. Its better that way than small group is making that kind of desicion. Let community decide.
