Have to say that I don't feel like playing in a team named by a NHL team, as there is such a many teams that has kept their original name for years by now. It would also be a hard to get done in EASHL as well (there might be someone else as well who feels like naming their club as Washington Capitals). About the system for playing higher and lower divisions I do like. As every new team would have to start from the lower one but still able to make it to higher if they play well. Best 30 teams from ECL2 would make it to higher and rest goes to lower with the new ones that shows up for the NHL17. That way there maybe wouldn't be scores like 7-0 or 10-1 in the regular season either.

It's always a bit hard to get people to play during the summer time, but no doubt that some organised cup/tournament would gather more players to play. With a huge community like this, it shouldn't be a hard task to do. The key is to keep it as simple as possible. For example like Silenttio wrote, to get X amount of games to be played in few weeks - every one of us have a lot of things going on during summer, but this way it would be in players own hands how to schedule the games. Also a bit easier to take part of the cup/tournament knowing that you don't have to play on particular day, and it would also be easier for staff to organize. I prefer "summer cup" is kept far away from the original ECL - this way there could be more like mixed teams playing just for fun during summer. There wouldn't need to be anything same, except the players. Would there need to be anything else about the games than just the scores? Not sure how people would feel like not marking their personal points as there might be some who wants to take this more seriously than I am. Just making some new contacts for the upcoming leagues and have an option to play hockey instead of football. This seems to be my way to wrote a simple answers as a long and unclear essay.

Well, it's not a bug, but are you able to get messages seen in the main page as well. I mean that there will be missed private messages as they wont be seen if you won't change to community page. Maybe the smallest thing to complain, but you forced us to tell even the smallest ones

Both ways should work just fine. It doesn't matter if you are not in the top20 monthly as long as there is some seeding before teams will be randomized. Every team starts still from the same line, but this way there won't be all top15 teams in one group (A) and that way teams 9-15 would be out of playoffs as they might have been able to be #1-2 in other groups (B, C or D). What I'm trying to say, is that I prefer any kind of seeding before groups are made, as long as groups are still equal in the first tournament. I would also like to play few more games before x-mas, but it is you who knows it best how we should do it. If you feel like you aren't ready with the site before 14th, it's ok to for me to wait. I rather play the games when everything is completely ready than rush. We all should be thankful for you guys, that we will even be having this site.

You would be looking the stats of 6v6 games? Playing with a computer goalie and getting wins with that doesn't show or prove you anything. Also playing only few games every week you can have stats like 50-1-1 and still there are teams above you with 100-100-100 just because they have been able to play a lot more (maybe with that comp goalie). A common sense should also be used if there will be some seeding. Or then you just make 2 divisions equally (28 each) and mix each for 2 groups (14 each) and best 4 from each group continues to playoffs. No drama. Trust me gendlik, best teams will also make their way to best 4 in 14 team groups. Next tournaments you can check the stats from the first ones.

Intresting things to talk about. I couldn't stay quiet when you start to speak about future of this great new site you ‌@Kenu and ‌@Lurkins have built for us. Why should I? I think that every single player of every team should come and give their opinions here during these next few days, when the big decisions will be made. It won't be easy to tell for some "well known" teams to start to play from lower divisions, but on the other hand it ain't right to raise them straight to the top, if divisions will be made. After all, this will be the very first tournament and every team will be starting from the same line. I have to admit that I like the idea to play against the same teams year after year, because like ‌@Nephenzy said earlier, teams wouldn't give up so easily if they would have to start from the lowest divisions. This way also teams that might not be able to beat the very best teams would still have something to play for - division championship. It depends how many teams we are able to get on board, but like 14 + 14 could also be a fine working combination. This way you could play shorter tournaments as you have only 13 teams to play against (3games/week and regular season will be played in a month). Teams 1-8 from both would play the playoffs and from the higher 13. and 14. would face the lower division final teams = winners to the higher and losers to the lower division in the next tournament. This way new good teams that wants to join for the community won't have to play in the lower division that long and we would be able to get 2 (someday hopefully 3 or 4) intresting divisions. How would we start this? There is no way to tell, which teams should be in the higher and which in the lower group, as 0 games are played. One big group in the begin would be fair for all. 50% to higher and other 50% to lower group (10+10 or 16+16, depends how many teams will be starting from the very first), top-8 teams go for the playoffs. There will always be someone crying if we would now make 2 groups, because other (the one you are not in) would be so much easier... that way there would be a chance that there is some weaker team in better group as you start from the lower one. What a shame. Problem would be fixed in 2months - after your team have made your way to division finals and you have become a division champions. This way the first tournament would be a lot faster and we would be able to play 3-4 this year also (yes, my years starts from September, not January). This is just one of mine thoughts. After all I and most of us, will support you whatever you will decide, as long as we get to play some hockey!
