    We have now finals where one team get there by winning and one who staff decided to play there. Sounds good right ? (Sjk has putted on shitty situation not their fault.) 

    Why dont you be the reasonable adult and write better rules for those you think are faulty so we wont have this situation in future tournaments and stop complaining when things arent going the way you like them to

    Yes i understand, for example i will be in usa for 2.5 weeks in march, i was quite sure it didnt hit poff time but it might, but considering that my team (if i find one and is going to poffs) should be given 3 weeks to schedule, if you want to play competitive imo week is enough for 1 series as it mostly has been.

    It's fun how the whole LA keeps saying same things over and over again. Jaadajaada... My point here wasn't that I wanna teams get forced to wait others or something else. Just saying, think before you even start! That was the point. Staff forcing and waiting all teams to play whole season within 8 weeks without any WO's is also as ridiculous as (for example:) me asking two weeks more time bc Ulla went to Hawaiji with him Tinder match. Blaablaa...

    Ok, I understand, giving 8 or 10 weeks for Regular Season would not change anything. Theres always that one "SSG" at the end, asking more time to play. 1 or 1,5 week for three opponents is pretty good, imo. But for future, I wanna see at least longer PlayOff deadlines. Or at least more freedom with them. I mean, think before you start, as I said. If Christmas comes to your way, then it comes. Don't force PlayOffs in future. We can continue playing on January as we (you) did @ ECL 3. Why we even wait one month after game release to start ECL? Now we need to hurry with everything. Rules @ ECL 5 are already written. I can stick with those, I respect them as much as I can. But I'm talking about future (ECL 6 etc.). I don't wanna see any WO's, I wanna see more competitive and friendly rules for top teams. Imo, if we (you) are smarter, we can play Seasons without killing tight deadlines. Just be straight and simple with those rules what comes about games deadlines in future. And do it before you start season, not when season is going to end. The fear about WO's is always here when you play or not. It's not good. Plan your seasons with more time, so at least those PlayOff WO's are gone forever.

    I respect you and other members. Different opinions are richness. But I think, nobody doesn't care how many seasons we play in a year. Me and other members will enjoy much more to play 1-2 ECL Seasons which are almost 100% succesful with good straight rules, than playing 3-4 ECL Seasons which are 75% succesful bc there isn't really change to be flexible. There's always a problems and there's always different kind of teams. Others maybe doesn't care about WO's, but I care.

    And don't get me wrong. The problem isn't as big as my text is. :D It's interesting to discuss and this is what I think. Perfectly planned is half done...

    Let me see if i get this straight, in regular season more time wouldnt help but in playoffs it will?

    I think content this time was a bit out of the main focus because in eashl you can faceoff against any team and who has played the most isnt really that interesting (personal opinion ofc), so ill hope next time we get something more ecl related topics

    There are lot of things that are far from fair in this franchise. At the end of the day we can only enforce things up to a certain point. Also we're not preventing goalies from playing aggressively. Everyone's more than welcome to challenge the puck carrier, just understand that some aspects of the gameplay are just "EA Sports".

    In addition, I've never said that people shouldn't voice their opinions. We appreciate your input, it's welcome. Tho as I mentioned - you do need to look at the bigger picture and see that not everything is black and white. We can't please everyone.

    Nothing ofc, but you cant claim making case of this play being aggressive and then say its for potential misuse, that makes exactly the case that you are making goalies unable to play aggresively because then if someone bumps into you if your goalie freezes it doesnt matter the goal will count. If you suspect its false freeze then you need to make differebt kind of judgement

    People were asking for an explanation, I gave it to them. Whilst you may be able to see everything clearly via your crystal ball, some people aren't aware of the way things work. This ruling could've easily gone either way. Period.

    Another thing some of you are overlooking - the potential way for goalies to exploit and abuse the game mechanics in similar situations.

    As always - I'm pretty sure there's plenty of space for more staff. Welcome to join.

    Bit confused, are this abusing the freeze or you mean in general? Because this judgement will restrict goalies capability to keep his net clear, as there is nothing that restricts skaters similiar way this is very unfair towards goalies. And futhermore saying that if we are not pleased of the judgement we shouldnt voice are opinions but just accept it or join the staff, thats not acceptable tbh

    At the end of the day it's not a black and white situation - it could've easily gone either way. That's something people just have to accept.

    Can the video then be shared, so we know what type of freeze is acceptable? 

    And if possible to change the rule about freeze that goalies are exception in some sort of situations.

    That is unfortunate, but it doesnt change the fact that you actually have to deal with it

    As said in gzells post it is slightly provocative, but if every comment or post that has provocation is disallowed im quite sure there is no community, no discussion, ofc usually when overreaction happends it tends to spread the blame. But the line has to be drawn somewhere.
