I understand your point and admit that my intent with the bolded comment was to challenge people that might have different opinions. The fact is that we want to produce content to the best of our ability and it's up for debate whether people think we have done so or not. If people feel otherwise, I warmly welcome them to discuss a possible contribution in order to better things. Constructive criticism is always welcome, but I'm sure no one appreciates getting flamed in the comments section when they're just trying to bring something to the table on their own free time.

I think this works for both ways, im quite sure no one appriciates being called mediocre when you already made your way to semifinals, or when you lead the defenders in points only your pims gets mentioned, imo thats just disrespectful.

In your opinion. Evidently there’s many who would argue the opposite, players involved in eSHL, others who ain’t participating as of yet and common LHC fans posting on social media.

Dismissing the arguments as to being butthurt is just negligent. There’s a bigger picture here and concerns reaching well beyond that.

Without rules opinions and actions will be divided. Some would refer to common sense but we all know that won’t work out.

Quite sure these isn't any facts to throw around so everything discussed is based on opinion, and that's why it seems to me everyone who is somehow insulted by this signing is just butthurt, but sure if you have some facts to back those arguments im more than willing to change my opinion

  3. Can people stop being butthurt, this is a good thing for the scene as whole. There are still plenty of teams to those talents to rise, thats just a poor excuse. No matter is it sport or esport teams goal is to win and nationalism has only place when its world cup or representing your country.

Surely you don't mean that you want to remove skating backwards?

Assuming you mean changing it for the better so it isn't as useful. Please let us know your ides on what the critical things to fix is and where it's most wrong in your opinion and how you would like it to function. And I really mean it - we can all go "It's broken! It's broken!", but in order for the feedback to be the most beneficial, it'd be great to get the most concrete description(s) of what exactly is disliked, what's liked and how we think it could be fixed the best to our liking.

From NHL 20 onwards we will be focusing even more on getting the feedback from our community and how we can best communicate it to the producers and I will definitely be asking for more videos this year. I'll post more about this later.

When switching to backskate the players balance should be very low so any kind of hit should at least get the puck loose if the player is not knocked down. And i mean only transition not when player have regained the stance

I don’t see how this makes a Swedish championship more interesting? On the contrary I think it hurts Swedish teams in the long run. Last minute transfers are rarely a good way to build success imo :)

Isn't this a choice for every swedish team to make? And since finnish are dominating adding "better" players to a tournament makes it more interesting, no?

I remember our Twitter conversation from 2 days ago where you did not sound like the fighting rule is "very vague" and ended it by calling it "pointless". How come?

Vague as in LA can decide whatever they want

For any sane person it would be the one pressing the triangle should be held accountable, but as LA demonstrated it's not

    Hey Everyone,

In regards to the fighting rules, there might be some misunderstandings, so we want to clear this up in case we communicated it poorly:

    • The changes to the rules have not been made - the implementation was only for the remainder of the DYN - DPH series.
    • The above listed changes are examples - we are aware that many players would not like those things taken away by making them against the rules, which is why we are asking for your opinions on it.

For example, the only modification to the rule that could be made (if that is the general consensus) is that only the accepting party is breaking the rules and how to continue with the game if there is a fight.

Making any bigger changes to the fighting rules during the season would most likely cause confusion and that was not our intention in any case.

Well atm the fighting rule is very vague, if it's broken LA can decide whatever they want and players can't tell beforehand if they have broken any rules

  8. Why can't there just be punishment to that player who accepts the fight, in elite at least people know if you push the triangle it iniates the fight there is no reason ever to press triangle (ever). So if it's done by accident or even by magic everyone knows it's illegal and should prevent fights from hapoening

Not sure I follow. Could you specify your issue? Winning a relegation faceoff should grant a team promotion.

Well no issues mate, just wouldn't have used the word faceoff in this particular case
