~150 players sounds like a sample size good enough for community like this, given its spread across the divisions.

I don't personally feel strongly either way, aside from being heavily disappointed by @Meazza1704 stopping a couple of empty netters I thought I was getting when playing without X-Factors in the GCL. 🤣
With the ECL and its qualifiers coming up very soon (ECL regular-season start of April, Qualifiers a couple of weeks before - more details to be released very soon), we will have to make a decision on this matter within a couple of weeks. If people want to or don't want to ban them all - please write your thoughts in this thread. The more constructive and well-reasoned you write, the easier it is to discuss. Would love for those who are playing in the FCL, GCL, SCL, and WECL (or outside of these National leagues) to give this "ban them all" approach a real chance for the next few days and make your conclusions based on experience from playing for a few days and see how it feels.
Based on the recent messages it appears people seem to be pretty split on banning everything and banning just one or two things. I think it's a good idea to discuss what a happy medium could be that the majority would be happy with - or is there such a compromise available?
Is it totally out of question that different divisions have different rules on the subject?
It seems like majority of ELITE and PRO players are against the bans while lower divisions seem to prefer the bans more.

So if you start with a team in core you create your player build, get used to it and advance to next division you need to adapt to another player build? Why?
Keep the rules same for all competitive leagues or it just doesnt make sense. For neo do as you please.

Free player from finland. 36y old.
Looking mainly for a team that needs a player to backup the starting six and hop in whenever needed on normal club games when theres somebody unavailable.
Im completely fine if i wont see any ecl time but however if needed im there.
Rw, c or rd. Could try ld or even goalie sometimes if really needed.

Theres no option for this but i will buy ps5 when there is NHL game that is only available on ps5 or when my ps4 will die.

RW/RD/C looking for a new team.
I have played mainly as an RW but can try out for C and RD spots aswell. Back up role is also fine _IF_ given fair chance to break into the starting line. Playing with left handed stick.
Usually i can play 2-3 nights Mon-Thu and one of friday or saturday. I prefer not to play on sundays but if theres ECL we can discuss that.
I dont care that much in which division team is playing right now but i want a team that is aiming to get better and moving up in divisions. Hoping to start the try outs next week.I am finnish but teams nationality doesnt matter.

For me the ENCE EKI's first message in the old topic has still value. Win is win and the games are very short. Thats why I still support the current system. But anyhow, only Elite players and teams should be able to make decisions what happens in Elite. Because of license, prizepool, etc. Pro/Lite/Neo sure can do whatever they want imo, but you need separate polls then. This kind of public poll inlcuding every skill level doesn't have so much value for me in this kind of case.
But even in elite, teams and players come and go as the years go by. Do you want to vote for each season with new players?
And for the topic, i agree with the original poster that current point system is worst of them all. Even still its not a big deal and difference is slim, as @tbnantti has calculated.

Horror Hockey is looking for players!
We are looking for a goalie that would share the load with our another goalie who can play only on mondays and thursdays. So we are looking for a goalie for the rest of the nights.
We are looking for a defender that can play at least LD but playing both sides would be considered as a plus. You would be our third defender so you could expect to play about 2/3 of the games.
The core of the players in our team is finnish but we have swedish goalie and swedish forward.
After difficult last season we were relegated to lite but we have made some changes and feel like we are ready to make it back to the pro.

Horror Hockey is looking for active players. We are looking for atleast two players and might even consider third. All of the players we recruit will get ice time in both eashl and ecl (or any other tournament there is).
We are seeking for players on any position there is and it would be a huge plus if you could play multiple positions.
Most inactive positions at the moment are LW and LD (and C) but as said, any positions would help.
