We are planning to play the tournament with 4 forwards and 3-4 defensemen. We are one short at both right now. 1. A forward. RW is needed and it is a plus if you can play LW too. Requirements: some experience and an understanding to play a team game. Personal skills: good passing, can make zone entries with the puck. Ability to maintain pressure at the offensive end. Responsible defensively and not fleeing the D-zone too early to allow outlet passes. 2. A defenseman. It would be great if you can play both sides, but not absolutely necessary. HC Palosaari (founded in 2012, look at that! 10th EA Sports masterpiece NHL about to start) is looking for a couple players to add to the roster. We will participate in next ECL again, probably Core division. Last season was a disappointing one for us but we have great resilience and will be bouncing back stronger. Finnish players are the priority here. What we need: A defenseman. Starting job for the ECL, preferably LD but RD is possible too. You need to be a team player who can provide solid defence, a good outlet pass and zone exits and keep the attack going in the offensive zone. You don`t need to have a lot of experience if you are the right fit and can become a key part of our team. Playing time is guaranteed. A goalie. 1A / 1B type of role. Playing time regularly and in the ECL is guaranteed. Here we can take exceptions for the Finnish language but would be cool to talk shit with you too. No ECL experience needed, just solid overall play and a commitment to the team. A forward can also be added to the roster. Hello! Finnish club HC Palosaari has been around for ages, since 2012 I believe. Now we are making a comeback. We will participate in the upcoming ECL, Neo division if that is the lowest / entry-level. We are looking for a few (2-3) additions to our squad. What do we expect: - Finnish language, strongly recommended - Ability to play a couple of different positions at a decent level - Some experience. Not necessarily ECL. - We are 30-35 years old, so you would need to be a hairy assed adult as well We offer guaranteed playing minutes, a big role, and bad sense of humour. If you want to, you will play every ECL game given that you fit in our group. We do not offer daily training or high aspirations. We want to play competitive hockey for a bit, but will not take it too seriously. We have other commitments in work, life and family, and it is best if you have too. Looking for a club! Some facts about me - 32 yo, Finnish - LW/C , can also play backup LD and G - Played ECL/EHL for multiple years. Last season in Lite (HC Palosaari) - Reliable two-way game, mostly power forward / two-way forward - I have family, so playing time is a little limited. Basically never before the kid goes to sleep, which atm is around 7 PM CET. Also will be taking nights off, but available for many nights a week. What I am looking for in a club is a casual, but still serious game. Elite teams are out of the question for the limited playing time (also probably my limited skills for that matter :P). ECL is a big bonus, and I would like to participate in some games, but not a deal breaker if you don't play ECL. I am happy to take on a secondary / depth role on a team, all that is required is regular 6on6 games with a nice, adult group. Message me if you think I could be a good addition to your team!
