  1. Alright thanks, I didn't actually look in that thread. 👍
  2. Has it been officially confirmed that the next ECLs will use PS5 / Series X version of the NHL23? Sorry if this been covered someplace, but I just don't want to buy the PS4 version / dual entitlement if I don't have to... the PS5 version is way too expensive as is. 😡🤑
  3. Yeah sure, let's by all means increase the speed, especially on offence.🤮 Slowing the player down to a crawl while poking might sound great for HUT or something, but it damn near kills defence. Who in their right mind wants to play defence after this? I guess you can adapt to it eventually, but there's literally nothing to counter-balance this either by giving some other tools to defence, or nerfing offence in some way. I guess scoring is all that matters, eh? Plus it seems players have increased balance, so they can shrug off hits and nudges more easily, and even if they do get bumped or fall, they have this new desperation move... great, just what game needs. That and the lacrosse goal, good to see the devs have their priorities right.🙄
  4. Just a friendly suggestion: you MIGHT want to 1) read you private messages on this forum and on Playstation, and then 2) respond to these messages... You know, even just to say 'sorry, not needed' or something...
  5. Hope that augmented reality is optional and can be turned off.... "Improved" (as opposed to none) stick physics sounds extremely good, hope they have pulled it off properly. Sticks going through bodies has always been my pet peeve. Hopefully this means stick defence gets more useful, pucks beocme more loose, and tripping is more realistic... if this was the only improvement and it really works, it would make this game worth buying, I feel.
  6. I have a bad feeling about this, the X-factor gimmicks, shiny ice etc. Nothing in that reveal made me enthusiastic for NHL22, and I have PS4 and PS5 too. The dual entitlement price is just EA raking in more money, so I am not really suprised. Breaking up the playerbase is numb-skull move from EA, but it seems they don't really care about the community. Maybe we should just stick with NHL21?😑 Anywhoo, we'll see what's what when the 'beta' comes out. Hopefully it won't be a total cluster-fu**. One thing I dont' get: apparently Frostbyte and x-factor are on both old-gen and new-gen versions, so what is the difference between them, less frames per second for the PS4 version? I suspect these are the same game at heart, they just couldn't be arsed to make cross-gen compatibility because they'd get mo' money without it?
