SportsGamer and PlayStation bring you the PlayStation NHL 23 Showdown - a Finnish 1v1 NHL 23 tournament played on the PlayStation 5 throughout January and February 2023. The PlayStation NHL 23 Showdown is for all players that are looking to test their skills in a competitive environment with the chance of winning some awesome PlayStation prizes in the process. Entry is free and in true SportsGamer fashion, we’ll be highlighting the greatest plays and most exciting games of the tournament on our social media channels and in live finals on Twitch. Tournament format The PlayStation NHL 23 Showdown will span over the course of four weeks and is going to be played fully online in four different stages. Registrations: 15.12.2022-19.1.2023 ⚠️ First Qualifier: 14.1.2023 Second Qualifier: 21.1.2023 Top 16 Group Stage: 25.1-5.2.2023 Quarterfinals: 7.-9.2. Top 4 Finals: 11.2.2023 Schedule for 2nd qualifer * RO128: 11:00 RO64: 12:00 RO32: 13:00 RO16: 14:00 * Times are Finnish time. Eight players will be qualifying on each Qualifier weekend and with one Qualifier in the books, we've still got eight spots left in the Top 16! Here are the Top 8 of the first Qualifier The Top 16 Group Stage will span over the course of a week. The winner of the entire tournament will be taking home 250 EUR in cash, a 50 EUR PSN voucher and a lot of PlayStation goodies, while the top eight players of the tournament will all receive cool prizes!
