i think there is a bit of confusion because some people interpret #1 as non-elite captains can pick two elite players in the first 2 rounds, which is not the case. (by the way it is written in the article, i can see how someone would confuse that.) But it should be worded as such: Captains in the first two rounds get to pick one player from each of the two divisions that they do not play in. So then every team after round 2 should have 1 elite, 1 pro, 1 lite player. my vote is with #1 because why not try something different.4 points

isn't the 1st of august tomorrow (thursday)?2 points

Thanks. Updated the wording in the original post to hopefully make the intention more clear. I agree with your thoughts here, but I believe this is possible with both options 1 & 2.2 points

Free G | 28y/o from sweden I have been on a break from this game for some months now. I'm a little bit rusty but that should change pretty quickly. Looking for a team that plays either in the Pro or Elite. I can also be on back-up if it's needed. Hit me up if you're interested 😊2 points

We should have more captains who have knowledge of players in this community, mostly elite people i guess. Ive seen that many of those players wont be a captain because of dutys. At the same time they will be watching whole 6h live draft stream and being daily active on the forums. You could handle those dutys without taking extra time from yourself, step in guys, this tourney needs you.2 points

Yeah, I don’t totally disagree with you. But if the situation is like one Elite guy, one Pro, and rest of the team is lite, it can go ”wrong”. If the Elite guy is pissed about it, he/she may play only the mandatory 4 games. Of course, if the team is full of Elite, rest of the gang is playing the mandatory 4games. Potato, ”Poteto”..😂1 point

2 I’m not Elite. But I see this as an opportunity to learn something from Elite players. So if you have couple of those in your team, you might, just might learn about it. That’s not the point if you are picked with bunch of f.ex real life friends, who are not knowing community at all. But either way, going to participate1 point

Please let this game be as it is!!!. Ofcourse its few things that can be fixed but last year when we had a beta that was really fun to play we complained so much that they fucked up the game instead.1 point

Voting for: 1. Captains will be seeded into baskets based on perceived skill level (based on previous season - Elite, Pro or Lite). During the first two rounds, the captain can only pick two players from the other two divisions that he/she doesn't represent. (In the case of the captain representing a team that was relegated from or promoted to Elite at the end of ECL 8, the captain will be interpreted as an Elite captain).1 point
