Koojiikoojii "Joe Happy" #86 ECL in Rusty, 121gp 60g 91a = 151p eSM 18gp, 14+10 Thank you from your time in Rusty Blades during these 4 seasons! And good luck for you in the new path of your choice. It has been a privilige to me to play these couple years with "Koutsi". Such a great guy to have in a party and off the ice, and one of the best defensive forwards game after game.3 points

Freddie Mercury Institute hakee RW ja RD - pelipaikoille vahvistuksia. Pelaamme ECL-litessรค. Liteรค on takana jo kolme kautta ja ensi kaudella haluamme pelata itsemme PRO-sarjaan. Pelaamme pรครคsรครคntรถisesti sunnuntaista torstaihin, yleensรค klo 20-22 vรคlillรค. --- Same in English, the ideal option would be a Finnish player, but the door is still open for players from other nations as well, the most important thing, after all, is what happens on the ice! Freddie Mercury Institute is looking for RW and RD, we are currently playing in Lite -division. We have played three seasons in Lite so far, next season we want to play our way into the Pro-division. Usually, we play from Sunday to Thursday, 19-21 CET. Previous experience from ECL is not required, but it can be a plus. We play fairly tactical hockey, so we expect you to have the ability to adapt, learn and add new ideas to your game. The Everblades looking for reinforcement. Our former GM in Pohjoista Voimaa suddenly deciced to call it a day so rest of the team was left unemployed overnight. After some consideration we decided to stick together and form a new club The Everblades. We could have taken the PRO division spot we had with Pohjoista Voimaa but decided to make fresh start from Lite next season and earn our way back to PRO again. Now we are searching same thing as Finnish national team for years now, a right handed defenceman. Most of us are over 30 years old, so we hope new recruit would be over 24 and preferably Finnish. We are no magicians with the puck but we try to have system which we all have discipline to play by. New ideas are welcome and often fresh blood can bring new insight. Old merits don't count and we have fair competion of ice time which needs to be earned every night. Many of us are morning workers so we play usually between 19-22 on workdays but we play almost daily. If above light a spark in you, take contact via nhlgamer or psn(rjounila, johtava, Meiha)2 points

After huge disappointment caused by exceptionally bad luck during last season, we have prepared Nordic Stars for upcoming ECL8 Pro season. Everything's looking better than good as we have found extremely talented players to grow up as a part of the team. But we still need couple of more players to share the new adventures with us: Goalie Forward (Left&Right-handed.) ECL ice time guaranteed. Feel free to contact here or PSN: @Seahyena or @taemtaem1 point

Dear NHLGamers, We would like to address the events that took place a little over a week ago, starting on Thursday the 22nd of November, where ECL Pro team Deadly Phantoms got called a "puck ragging team" and some of our members advised other teams not to play matches against them, insisting that this tactic should be forbidden. It escalated during the weekend and we had several personal attacks towards the members of Deadly Phantoms. This is something that we cannot see past nor accept in our community. These events have caused the League Administration to act and make decisions about this kind of behaviour. First of all, everyone that has contributed with insults and broken our code of conduct (3.1, about mutual respect between our members) have been issued with a severe warning. User @FinKonna has been issued a 2 week forum ban from NHLGamer.com, due to posting a thread on our site where urged every team that matches up against the Deadly Phantoms to avoid playing them. The ban does not affect the members ability to participate in the ECL Elite playoffs. We, the LA, do NOT accept this kind of behavior from anyone and we will be adjusting our rules and community guidelines to make it even clearer that this sort of behavior will not be tolerated. We also need to point out that while it was mostly Deadly Phantoms members taking the heat, the situation should have been handled differently by certain Deadly Phantoms members as well. To conclude, the LA would like to remind everyone that it is perfectly fine to start a discussion about something that you think breaks the rules or the so-called gentleman's rules, but the discussion should always be with a community building and constructive angle and not as a tool to attack another team. Please always consider what you write and how other people could interpret it. We are aware that there are plenty of people in our community that write their messages tongue-in-cheek and with little seriousness, but at the end of the day, you are responsible for your own writing and how your writing can be interpreted, so please think for a bit, before pressing that submit button. - League Administration1 point

Salut NHLGamers, After a thrilling round 2 featuring at least one major upset as 5th seed Wasps Gaming was knocked out by 8th seed Bucketeers, we're now at the semi finals in Pro! All of the remaining four teams will stand a chance for promotion, either directly or through a relegation faceoff against SIKA or Gotham Knights. Here are your matchups for the Pro Semi-Finals: (1) Deadly Phantoms HC vs Bucketeers (8) Preview courtesy of @Panarinz After a controversial 1st round that at last ended 4-3 to the Phantoms, they swept Pata Hellalla in the 2nd round and made it clear that they are going for that Elite spot and maybe even a Pro win. Here we have a pretty defensive series. Phantoms are known for their solid defense, as they very rarely concede more than a goal against. The same can almost be said about The Buckets as well. Solid defense with strong goaltending make them a hard team to score against. Some might call them an underdog this series. But don't let that fool you, as they know how to win tough games which they very well proved in the second round against Wasps Gaming. However, in my humble opinion, this series will be decided by the Phantoms x-factor. They have incredible offensive firepower in their lineup and I won't leave out top regular season point and assist man @Playmaker and top goal scorer @Rayman, who both showed that they can win games on their own, even though it's a team game. One that shouldn't be underestimated is @Demski13 in the Bucketeers lineup, though (2nd in points during the playoffs). He's really put up points left, right and center during the playoffs. Definitely a decisive factor to look out for on the Bucketeers side. (4) Synergy Hockey vs Resurrection (6) Preview courtesy of @jahajaha93 This is a great matchup in a sense that there are many fundamental differences between these teams. The Swedish Synergy, being a very experienced and defense reliant team facing off against the Finnish Resurrection, who mostly consist of young, very individually skilled players who are hungry to prove their capabilities in the 6vs6-scene. Synergy had a convincing regular season and have continued on the same path in the playoffs, dropping only one game out of their total nine so far. As per usual, @DUNZA in net has been as solid as ever amassing six shutouts in the process of outclassing the opposition. On the other hand, the team has struggled a bit offensively, managing to net under 2 goals per game in the offensive zone. Arguably, that isn't too much of a worry if you let in none. The slight underdog in this series is Resurrection, their lineup features one of the more effective offensive trios in @Artuzio, @J0HTAJA and @xKeskitalo, who so far have combined for 30 goals in 13 playoff games. It'll remain to bee seen wether the more experienced Johtaja can guide his young wingers to the path of victory. That'll be all for now, gamers. We sure have some exciting games ahead and they won't be over anytime soon. Be sure to follow our twitch channel for our broadcasts on these matchups and keep following these exciting matches on our website. Your Pro Writing Team, @Panarinz & @jahajaha931 point

Dear Nhlgamer, RD looking for a team (elite or pro). Strenghts: I can dump the puck in forehand and backhand (prefer backhand). Weakness: Useless offensively (they said). Last season I played for Raging Monkeys. I was number 1 in points for defensemen and on team of the season in pro. I can speak: Norwegian (who cares), Svorsk (a mix of Swedish and Norwegian) and English. I understand: Norwegian (obviously), Swedish (most of the time), Finnish (only the bad words), Danish (If sober) and English. Don't let your dreams be memes and contact me if you're interested. Our sophomore season in ECL Elite did not go as planned. We did not reach the playoffs this season, as some might have hoped and some not that much. There is no any individual to blame, as a team we did not win the right games. Our strenght has pretty much always been team defence. This season we we're not at our best on it. In the other hand our offensive production saw an improvement. For example our very own @Lamsa was thirth in goals scored, tied with Written In The Stars forward @Joukki. @Supreex did all that was possible to do on the net. @koojiikoojii was as good 2-way center as always. Kinnune was also as solid as expected abd Epelis did his job at lw. We just did not perform well enough in the right games. Now it is time to move on and set our sights to fall and ECL7. ECL6 is still going on with playoffs just started and we have already made(suprisingly) little adjustment to our team. Here is our updated logo: And first roster move is Wuorio out. He is one of the founding members of Rusty Blades that was formed right after ECL1. So I must thank him for a long and hard work. Afterall majority of our roster were not familiar with 6v6 playing when we started. No drama in the departure of Wuorio. He just felt that he needed some fresh winds to find his NHL motivation again. Good luck for you on your future paths. And yeah we also have made a new signing. Yeah, we! This player have played with me in the past years ago in We Kings. He is good at both sides as a D. He is truly a veteran player and really nice guy too. We welcome you @Janikka to Rusty Blades!1 point

Fight for the ECL5 championship is still going on, but the season is over for us and I feel to be ready to dig in a bit to it. Final standings As many might know already, we finished 8th in regular season and forwarded to playoffs against all odds. How did that happen? We had a flying start to the season as we won our first Elite games 2-0 and 1-2. These games against Northern Ascendancy were really even, but we managed to get full points thanks to our solid team defense, goaltending and deadly finishing. After this strong start we faced Northern Stars and Written In The Stars. These games showed us how tough Elite will be. We only managed to get 1 point from these two opponents. Scores was even and did not have big problems, it just turned the way it turned. Aapon Taikasauva was the only regular season opponent that felt really hard to play against. We had difficulties with our scoring at first half of the season. Pucks just didnt seem to go in. Our team defense worked greatly on the other hand, and that saved us a lot of points. It was actually Carlsberg HC games that got us fired up for the rest of the season. Some might remember our games against Carlsberg at ECL4 in Pro division? Carlsberg was marching on in Pro, defeating everything on their path to Pro title. Then this little team Rusty Blades came and took 4 points against them. That felt awesome then. I had a really good feeling about playing against Carlsberg this season. And we did it again, 4 points. This gave a really good drive for our roster. After this it felt like playoffs can be achieved, it will be achieved. So we did end up in 8th place and got our place in playoffs. Opponent was Aapon Taikasauva, the team that was most difficult opponent for us in regular season. Most difficult by a large margin. As a huge underdogs we surprised everyone by winning first two games. Aapot was not ready to play us, as they counted on too much for being so big of an offensive force that they dont have to organize their team defense. After these first two games we saw a whole new Aapon Taikasauva on the ice. They played a really tight defense, used our very own weapons against us. That is the Aapot that are able to hoist the cup, no matter who they play against. But still, I have to admit that it was a bitter one to drop. All in all our first ECL Elite season was a rock solid. And others have noticed it, as I am hearing lots of rumours about Rusty players. Supreex was great at the net as usual. We do defend well, that helps him a lot. Still I do stand behind my words: Supreex is the best goaltender in ECL. Tauri did not play. But believe it or not, he was still a great part of the team. If we ever have to get rid of our mascot Alba, I do know who to call next! Brothers Kinnunen, Kiki and Kinu did well also. Both of them are now tested and approved to be Elite level d-men. Wuorio was as solid as I knew him to be. Good two-way hockey and 14+20 points. Koojii aka Koutsi, important piece of our team solid just like Wuorio. 17+17 points and after a hard first half of the season in faceoffs he managed to get fow% to 45,9. And Dirty Kantor aka "Hidden Gem" and "Who?". He did have a monkey(or was it ape?) on his shoulders at first. Then everything just clicked and he got it really going. 25+23 in 30 games. Thumbs up. Just a little something about the season. Anxious to get the next one started.1 point

A highly respectable season by you guys amid the toughest competition in the ECL. While Aapon Taikasauva ended up powering through to the next round, you fought tooth and nail against a team that's up there among the best. You were supposed to be an underdog, but the way you challenged all of these teams this season points to something beyond that. In the end, you are no underdog. You are one of the elite. Thanks for the show and have fun in ECL 6!1 point

The season and ECL5 is over for us. Aapon Taikasauva found a whole new gear after first two games and our 0-2 lead. We lost the series 4-2. But the season was strong from us. Only a few believed that we have what it takes to get to playoffs. Dissapointment is the feeling I have right now. But that is just because our season ended yesterday. But we have a good team and im not talking about gaming skills right now. I am surrounded with great guys on the ice and it is fun to play with them. Looking forward for the next season already. ๐1 point

Well, the experts were right - FCM did finish 15th, hah! ๐ ECL 7 was a really, really tough season for us. We didn't even come close to meeting the expectations we had set for ourselves. That said, as a team we take some pride in being able to finish the season - even when it looked like we wouldn't be able to. Thanks for having us, Elite. Anyway. Not completely related to our Elite relegation but - let's be honest here - somewhat connected to it, we have a short message to present: To quote the great Bilbo Baggins from Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring: "I regret to announce โ this is The End". After 8 tournaments (ECL 1-7, OEHL 4) and over three years of jokes, mining and great (well... good) hockey - Falun Coal Miners is folding and will therefore not be participating in the upcoming ECL 8. All players on the FCM roster are now to be considered Free Agents. Snatch them up quickly if you can - those who will continue playing, that is - because they are terrific people with good hockey minds. I can personally vouch for that. Who knows, perhaps FCM will even be back some day. You never know. Until then, thanks to everyone who has suited up for the Red, White 'n Coal! Good luck to all the teams and players out there and a special "keep it going for ECL 8" to TIKI TALK, Gotham Knights (Refuse To Lose), Silver Sword Griffins, Northern Stars, Sjukstugan, Synergy Hockey, SIKA, Dynasty, Northern Ascendancy - who are now set to become the last nine teams to play in all ECL tournaments. We dug coal together โ๏ธ0 points
