Hey NHLGamers, You may have noticed that there is a break in the ECL Elite schedule next week and there's a reason for this. We hereby want to present to you, the ECL Elite All-Star Week! We asked every ECL Elite team to submit a list of 4 players from their team that they wanted to nominate for the event, consisting of: 2 Forwards 1 Defenceman 1 Goalie There were some requirements for the players, in order to be eligible for the All-Star Event: The nominees have to had played in at least 50% of the teams games this season. At the very least, one of the nominees has to be able to stream. Nominees have to be available to play at the following times: Wednesday the 21st 20:30 CET Thursday the 22nd 20:30 CET Sunday the 25th 20:30 CET Most teams submitted 4 players per team, some were unable to. In the end, we ended up with a pool of 54 players. From this pool the ECL Staff selected 8 captains, who will draft their own teams from the pool of remaining players. How does the ECL Elite All-Star week work? 3-on-3 hockey (+ goalies)! Out of the 54 players that we were presented with by the Elite teams, the staff have picked 8 captains. These 8 captains will draft from the pool of the remaining 46 players to form teams of 4 players, including: 2 forwards 1 defenceman 1 goalie The remaining 22 players that were not picked won't be in the All-Star event, unless something unexpected happens and a team needs to substitute a player. These restrictions apply to the captains selecting the teams: A minimum of 1 player from each Elite team needs to be represented in the All-Star event In the first round of picks, players for the remaining 8 teams that aren't represented through the captains have to be picked. Two players from the same ECL Elite team should not play on the same All-Star team. The players that are available in the draft pool must be selected for the same position as they are in the pool. A goalie should not be selected to play forward, etc. The 8 teams will be randomly split into 2 groups: Group 1 plays on Wednesday the 21st, starting 20:30 CET. 3 games will be live streamed with commentary - the exact details will be agreed between broadcast team and teams. Group 2 plays on Thursday the 22nd, starting 20:30 CET. 3 games will be live streamed with commentary - the exact details will be agreed between broadcast team and teams. The best two teams from each group will make it into the semi-final stage, best-of-1. All three games (2x semis and 1x final) will be streamed. The semi-finals and finals will be played on Sunday the 25th, starting 20:30 CET. The All-Star Draft As mentioned above, the captains will draft their team from the remaining pool of players, meaning there will be a total of three rounds in the drafts in order to fill out the teams. The draft will be a snake draft, meaning the captain that goes first in the first round, will pick last in the second round and then first in the third round again. The draft order was randomly picked and it looks as follows: cHIIMEERa vatalisti FlyerKungen Norpee ICappeI SepiDN TehhAhola MartindalexC The first round of picks is from the teams that are not represented by a captain. Below you can see the full list of the players in the All-Star player pool. The captains are marked in bold and with a grey background and the available picks in round 1 have a blue background. In the two following rounds, captains can fill out their empty spots from any team, except the team they represent themselves. What an exciting list of talented players! Who would you pick on your team? Let us know in the comments. We kick off tomorrow (Sunday) with the All-Star Draft stream at 17:00 CET at twitch.tv/NHLGamerTwitch and we hope to see you there! You can see the full All-Star Week schedule below: Art by @cHIIMEERa11 points

ECL 6 has been big step forward for our team. In very last games we were fighting for top spot in Lite Group 1. But we reached our goal which was to get in playoffs. Now 1st round against DELIRIUM has been finished and in what fashion, 4 straight wins and our "not so spectacular" offence managed to light the lamp 12 times, while having SO in all games. Big hand to our goalie Meiha and whole team in front of him. Now eagerly waiting who we face on round 2. And here are streams of our 1st round games: Games 1 and 2 Games 3 and 41 point

ECL 6 Elite - Season report *** ⛏️ Week 1 (1-3-0 vs. NOR, NOS): After winning our first game versus Northern Ascendancy 2-1 in OT, we were riding high. "Is this what the season is going to be like?", we thought. Spurred on by positive comments around the community, we suddenly realized we had a shot at making a statement as a newcomer to Elite. "We're just as good as these guys right, why wouldn't we be?", we started to believe. Then, after splitting the games with NOR, we came across NOS and got shellacked 8-1 and 2-1. Tough second matchup for sure, and not one we're particularly proud of. Still, the first week left us cautiously optimistic we could steal a few points here and there and maybe fly under the radar. ⛏️ Week 2 (0-6-0 vs. SJK, SKY & RB): "Is this what the season is going to be like?", we thought once more - this time with our cheeks red of embarrasment and our eyes locked in empty stares. FCM got "lit the fuck up", as the cool kids say, in the second week of our Elite rookie season. I mean, we're not talking games that were close either. At least, not that close. Losses by 1-3 and 1-6 to SJK were followed by similar scores (1-3, 0-4) against Written. We simply could not score, nor could we keep the puck out of our own net. After starting the season 1-7-0, our final games of the week versus Rusty Blades were seen as a potential turning point for the season. "We've beaten these guys before - lets get to work on another hollywood comeback story!", we told each other. The results? 0 points through 0-1 and 2-3 losses. ⛏️ Week 3 (3-3-0 vs. PTH, SSG & NS): Panic started to creep in. The way things were going, our 1-9-0 start had all but ensured that we would have no shot at the playoffs, but now another fear started to manifest itself: What if we didn't win another game this season? Screw being relegated, what if we end up with the worst record in Elite history? Would we prove that a team built slowly through player development and friendship just wasnt cut out for Elite or would we do something about it? Drastic measures were needed and drastic measures were taken. RW iscojr94 was shifted to RD, LastMandalorian from C to RW, PatzyDrake from LW to C and defender Meeertz put at LW with specific orders to crash the net and make us hard to play against. Against Pata Hellalla, we finally tasted the sweet nectar of victory again as we gained 4 out of a possible 4 points. It felt like a new dawn was emerging and that our drastic measures had worked. Then came SSG where we barely escaped with a total 2 points (1-0, 0-3) after scoring just 1 goal throughout the matchup. Then, against Nordic Stars, another incredibly humbling defeat. Nordic Stars dismantled us completely by scores of 5-1 and 3-1 and all the optimism gained after the Pata wins were slowly evaporating. ⛏️ Week 4 (5-1-0 vs. Evo, CAT & UB): The captains gathered for another meeting. "Did we right the ship last week or are further adjustments needed?", was the hotly debated topic. "We did finally manage some wins and changing things up again could mean a loss of security and comfort." Ultimately, it was decided further changes were required if we were to have a chance at surviving relegation and salvaging what was left of the season. PatzyDrake stayed at C but LastMandalorian was shifted a second time - this time to RD. Meanwhile Berger-88, a complete rookie to ECL competition but with some previous 6v6 experience, was thrown into the lineup with little preparation. In the first few EASHL games with the new constellation, things appeared to be clicking. Still, it wasn't until we surprised ourselves by defeating reigning Pro champions Evolution through scores of 3-0 and 4-0 in the ECL, that we started to realize we might have something good on our hands. We then proceeded to battle our way past Katti with identical 2-1 wins. Finally, we managed to snag one more win against Unlucky Boys in our final matchup of the week. That was yesterday and here we are now, stuck in the no-mans land purgatory that is spots 9-12 in the standings. Are we happy with where we are? All things considered, yeah I would say we are. With such an up-and-down season, it is safe to say we will never know the answer to the question "Is this what the season is going to be like?" because in Elite there simply isn't a way to predict what any new day or matchup will bring. All we know is that we have four opponents remaining and with our backs to the wall, we are going to make life as difficult as we possibly can for those guys. *** This has been your FCM mining report from ECL 6 Elite.
