Shameful Knights is looking for a defender or an all around player for ECL 6 (ECL Pro)! Our RD is currently getting some high tier military training, so it's time we add another strong knight to our round table. We are primarily looking for an RD/LD, but if you are able to uphold a consistent good level of play on any position we will certainly see that as a huge plus. Requirements: -Be active. We try to play everyday to have and keep our team play in it's peak -Previous ECL experience is necessary! -You need to own a mic because communication on the ice is the key to success. We also have a WhatsApp chat where we handle all the general things such as when to play and who plays etc. -You're able to give quick passes which help forward our game - You have a good game sense that allows you to make quick and safe decisions but also lets you get creative when needed. Hi NHLGamers, after a couple of depressing years where I endured the sad state of EASHL on Xbox I finally made the switch to PS4 and it couldn't be more refreshing. Maybe some guys remember me (even though I never really was on a competitive 6v6 roster). I already recognize many great players from the old Xbox generation. To all good teams that I can finally play against: Thank you for giving me the rush of competitive games once again. It was dearly missed. Xbox was so boring for the last 2 years. Have fun in training camp and good luck for the upcoming ECL 6 season!

Good post. If you take a short pause and view the EHL-community players from above you’ll find that it’s a small pond of fish swimming there. There’s so much prestige involved. And for me, who’s not playing EHL or barely even EASHL, it’s even easier to see this. I can relay to that defenceman who felt like he was obsolete and not even involved in the games since he never got the puck. It’s incredibly boring even if the team wins 7-0. Hopefully people play because they love the game and because it’s FUN. It’s not exactly fun to play D if you never get to touch the puck during three periods. 😄

Wow @vSilenttio you're stepping up your wall-of-text game, impressive! lol I definitely, DEFINITELY agree that 3 ECL seasons a year should be the new norm. I had a rough estimate at 2.5 months for each tournament, add 2-3 weeks between seasons, basically the same stuff that you mention. HOWEVER, I also think 30 teams in the top division defeats the purpose of divisions. You just know the top teams will smash the 25-30 ranked team there, and isn't this what you guys want to avoid? Also the bigger the division the safer the top teams are that they will stay there forever. I think Chimera mentioned something like wanting a very small division size so that every team would be threatened with relegation, not that I share his opinion but at least that's a valid argument. With that said, if most people wanted a chance to face the top dogs (and the probability of being smashed) I would prioritize that over what the top-guys minority may want and a big top division cut into 2 groups would indeed be best, I guess, however "inelegant" it looks to me. I have been thinking about all this (a LOT) and I still say that 3 divisions are best, always have and I have stated my reasons in the past so I won't repeat myself but let me just add that 3 or 2 or however many divisions should not be more or less complicated to manage imo. If not of equal size, then I'd like maybe 15 teams in top and bottom divisions (8-team playoffs), and the rest in the middle division (8 or 16-team playoffs depending on division size I guess). I'd do 7-game series in top playoffs, 5 games in middle division and 3-game series in bottom division, then include some sort of promotion/relegation playoffs. As for tournament schedules I'd have ECL1 October to mid-December, ECL2 mid-January to enf of March, and ECL3 mid-April to end of June. Then maybe Summer Cup sometime after that.
