  1. Article updated: start time is Sunday 2nd if July at 19:30 CEST (20:30 EEST). Good afternoon gamers, You might remember a month ago when we showcased our very first edition of the NHLGamer Presents banner, in this post. That time the series in question was NHLGamer Presents: Goalie School, the arena was Youtube and you can check out the first two episodes here and here. More to come in that series! Anyway, back then we did say there'd be more material coming and today we are here to deliver on that promise. Introducing... the second unique series to be featured in NHLGamer Presents: Staff Hangout. NHLGamer Presents: Staff Hangout will, just like Goalie School, be a recurring feature only it will take place mainly on our NHLGamer Twitch channel instead of on Youtube. As the name suggets, Staff Hangout will simply be the NHLGamer staff hanging out, talking about a variety of topics, playing some games (mostly NHL) and above all taking your questions on everything related to NHLGamer, Summer Cup, ECL, Versus or anything else you can think of. One could say the series is not entirely unlike a Podcast in that sense, only with more Live interaction from anyone who is interested to comment. Episode #1 of Staff Hangout will be streaming on NHLGamer Twitch this Sunday at 19:30 CEST (20:30 EEST) and featured will be: vSilenttio The_Alpha_Furyan KenuFHR janbonator (maybe) TBD Topics will include (but not be limited to): Summer Cup, the Staff meeting in Finland, future of NHLGamer, Versus & ECL 5. See you all there!

  2. Hey NHL Gamers, during the game between NG International Army and NG Pojat Ilman Pelihaluu, the away team scored the game-winning goal in overtime. NG International Army filed a dispute including the following video: NG International Army vs. NG Pojat Ilman Pelihaluu.mp4 The goal in question violates rule #7 "Fair Play": "Currently, there is a known bug which leads to a player being stuck in an animation, making it impossible for him to play the game until the next stoppage. In case this bug occurs, teams are advised to clear the puck as soon as they notice it. Any goals scored during this time frame will not count. Video proof needs to be captured if there is disagreement whether a goal should count or not. In case this freeze occurs multiple times during a game, League Administration asks teams to provide video evidence for further investigation. Intentional, abusive usage is considered as exploiting the game and will lead to harsh disciplinary action described above." Just before the goal is scored, one of the attacking players skates towards the frozen defender to play a pass. League Administration assumes he must have been aware of the freeze in this situation. However, due to the heat of the moment (overtime) and a good opportunity, we feel like it was not done on purpose. League Administration will refrain from any personal player penalties. However, League Administration rules that this overtime must be replayed with the same rosters used in the original game. The rosters can be seen from the match page linked above. In case both teams fail to schedule the overtime until Sunday, the game will end 2:2 and both teams receive one point. In case one team is at fault, the other team will receive an overtime walkover win (3:2/2:3) and thus get two points, while the other team receives one point. - League Administration
