  1. Banterfield Battalion is looking for eLITE players for ECL 5. About us: We are an active Finnish based team who likes to play a lot, also on the weekends. ECL4 was the first time we participated in ECL and not that many of our players had much experience from 6v6. Despite the lack of experience we were only two wins away from claiming a spot in ECL Pro. For the next season we are looking for a couple of new players to help us take the next step. Our goal next season is to reach at least the semifinals and gain a promotion to ECL Pro. What we are looking for is: - Active and versatile team players, big plus if you can play more than one position - Some game sense, not saying that we have it but it helps if at least someone has - Last season our youngest player was 15 and oldest 27 so it's a big plus too if you fit into that age category - You need to be able to communicate in finnish, english or på svenska. ANY POS IF YOU ARE eLITE And finally, last but not least, at least some Sense of Banter IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR ARE INTERESTED DON'T HESTITATE TO CONTACT @Heero, IN CASE YOU SPEAK THE BEAUTIFUL LANGUAGE OF KALAKUKKO PLEASE CONTACT @Stu

  3. Hey NHL Gamers, We recently posted our first part from our visit to Seinäjoki to attend the IS Cup. I had the privilege of attending this event with the wonderful @The_Alpha_Furyan. You can read more about the tournament in that article, as this time around it's about the video recap we've put together from that weekend. To make sense of all the material we collected during this intense day (it was a lot), we enlisted the help of professional Viaplay video editor @LastMandalorian who did a fantastic job putting everything together. You can check out the end result below! Hope you enjoy the video as much as we enjoyed being there! Can't wait to be a part of more of these events in the future! As mentioned above, check out our written first part if you missed it previously: Until next time,

Furthermore we also welcome Hawks Hockey Club to the Pro division after delivering a tight 7-game final series, as well as Lavetten and DEAD END KINGS who managed to make their way to the ECL 4 Lite semi-finals. These teams will replace Company of Geeks, Thunder Tigers, The Lights Out and The Beagle Boys who lost their Pro relegation battles earlier in the season. What's next? First of all we will have a few season recaps of ECL 4 during the next few days, and we are also curious to hear about your thoughts on this season. From a Staff perspective, the switch to the thoroughly discussed Divisions format was a real success - but we are always striving for more. On the tournament side, we just launched registrations for the first ever Xbox ECL which will kick off on May 22nd. Make sure to spread the word on that, as we are very confident there is also another community to be conquered by us! On top, we are in preparations for the next iteration of our Summer Cup on PS4, which will once again be the relaxed conclusion to this year's plans with NHL 17. Definitely stay tuned for this! @gzell60 for NHLGamer.com

  7. While Sadapoika is right that NHL shifted from being more popular on Xbox, to now being more popular on the PS, you should take the numbers posted with a grain of salt. As always you see numbers that are taken from VGchartz. A shit website that only estimate sales. Back in 2010-12 EA at least released the official launch numbers for the NHL series, but guess what? The numbers of VGchartz don't even match the official week 1 sales. Can't blame them, though. Why would they take the time to look up officially released sales figures of the obscure and niche games of the NHL series. Still, it's an unreliable website that you shouldn't take serious.

  9. Ok so that adds to the situation that majority of the old players switched the platform from Xbox to PS when the consoles were upgraded from PS3->PS4 and Xbox360->Xbox One. This I heard out from Kenu. There seems to be no oldschool following for xbox anymore and those sales statistics won't surely help, things used to be quite even. Add to that the topic that you can use a xbox style gamepad on PS effectively there really is no question what system you should go for if you plan to play EASHL. Xbox is out of the question for me.

  11. A guy was nailing his interview when the employer said, "Well you look great but I see here there was a 7 year gap since your last job, what happened there?" The guy says, "Oh I went to Yale". The employer: "Oh great!! Well you're hired, you start Monday." Guy: "Yay! I got a yob!"

  12. There are three league levels; Lite, Pro and Elite. Lite and Pro are free to join. If your team wishes to play in ECL Elite, you have to earn promotion through ECL Pro. ECL Lite is meant for the more casual gamers - to have fun and get a taste of ECL action ECL Pro is the league with the most participants, featuring a wide variety of teams, with some of them getting promoted to ECL Elite at the end of this season. ECL Elite features the 16 best teams of the previous season. The last tournament for NHL 17 is ongoing, but the first tournament for NHL 18 usually starts around October. The registration page will appear on this forum around late Sept/early Oct. Once you have registered, the league administration will come up with a schedule and you will complete the games through the Challenge Club -feature in EASHL and report the stats on this site.
