I don’t know how many polls we need to arrange to come to the conclusion that the majority (of the top two leagues at least) are in favor of keeping things as they are with only Big Tipper being banned.

Or are we voting until we come to a conclusion that satisfies SG by banning them all? That’s what it feels like.
 

I’m in favor of keeping things untouched from the previous ECL, for reasons mentioned in my previous post. The gameplay is more open with X-Factors.

Not a single esports scene allows abilities/perks which helps you to do something better or makes something automaticly for you and reason is simple…in esports people wanna see what you got to bring on table to be better than others or be the best. Jollei riitä ni ei riitä and go get better if playing without traits makes you playing on lower stage.

Can you give us who doesnt know about this 6s draft, some insight which kind of players are involved in here? Is it only top level players or also lower level players?

~150 players sounds like a sample size good enough for community like this, given its spread across the divisions.

Hello everyone,
I can see that the subject seems very complex to resolve, since we will always find people for and against change, and life is generally like that...
Now that that's been said and I've experienced “Ban them all” in regional tournaments, I have to say that I prefer this gameplay, which seems closer to my convictions in terms of gameplay. However, I did enjoy the gameplay on the previous ecl, which is why I'd only ask one thing of the tournament organizers, and that's to make a very quick decision about the future. Competitions come and go, and switching from one style of game to another in the space of a few days/weeks makes no sense to me, because the gameplay has nothing to do with it.
Why did you decide to run the regional championships and the World Cup in the same format and not follow the same format for the ecl, when this competition is in the middle of the calendar? It makes no sense to me. I repeat, I'm neither against nor for a format, I'm just asking for a guideline.

???.. Have u watched FIFA or mby NBA as well. There are traits just like in NHL that are used in comp. Also im pretty sure there are many n many others games that has same kind of perks or traits in comp.

fifa has restricted them to max 3 goalies not included i googled so gameplay doesnt stand on xfactories in ecl and thats how it should be why would we allow perks which makes scoring easier like close quarted/oneT kills idea of Esports

What? Gameplay mechanics like this in other titles is exactly what the X-Factors were modeled after. Ultis, different abilities in different player classes etc.

As for the other part of the msg, the best will still be the best irregardless of XF. This debate is about the gameplay experience.

This game version has been built around those x-factors/traits and thats why playing without those is so silly and boring to play and as a viewer even more boring to watch and it makes like shots, hits etc so useless. 

Lets imagine like people are playing Counter Strike but then you should just use weapons without any scopes, magazines etc. Its just not working that way. Those weapon attachments belongs to that game like x-factors/traits belongs to this NHL version. Hopefully someones got my point.

Everyone who have played without abilitys know that this game is sooooo fun to play when there is no trucu and i really dont understand why people not want that to be banned? and everyone who have played now knows too that if we ban all there not going to be any goals in games and only goals will be force after force, i just pray that we can ban tipper and trucu and not others

Just because someone doesnt share your opinion in something doesnt mean it is trolling

I want all abilities ban! I enjoy the gameplay more that way!

But calling people stupid for enjoying something that you yourself dont enjoy is a very arrogant way at looking at things in both life and in this case

 

I accept the players who think abilities is fine! That is your opinion, but dont call me or anyone else who enjoys something else stupid, cause that has been the case in this discussion!

Come with arguments for why you like abilities without putting other people down and calling them bots

Why we can't play with the features what included in the game? The point is to see which of teams are the best in every league.

X-Factors are part of the game, why should they be removed? With abilities it opens up the opportunity for everyone to play to their strengths, some focus on shots / 1T, others on passes and still others on tackles. Now they're all being taken away, so you get the same old crap as you've always had.

If there is some overpowered ability like Big Tipper, then keep that banned and let's continue like last ECL.

The point is to develop the game, not take it backwards play competitively or less competitively, it's the same...

Hopefully SG wake up for ECL and bring the X-Factors back. Changing rules of every tournament are the biggest joke of long time.
