  1. Hawaii Hockey is looking for 2 forwards (rw/c/lw) into starting lineup and backup (allrounder) player. Apart from being skilled with the puck, the player we are looking for needs to have the same mindset as us regarding team play. Meaning, we attack as a unit and defend as one. Defenders are to be used very often in the offensive zone. Forwards has the most skill up front but are happy to cover up for an eventual defender breaking up the ice. We want to play a dynamic and entertaining hockey. We'd like to keep a chill group of players long term who for real enjoy playing the game together on a level that creates motivation for all. As we speak English in the party it's good if you can understand and speak the language on a basic level. During off-season we plan to play about 2-3 times a week together as starting lineup. For now we aim to play on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays from about 20-21 Swedish time (can be adjustable). There will of course be opportunity to play more but on other days than these, it could be with backup- or guest players as well. We will play in the upcoming ECL Pro and hope to find the guys who will fit both on and off ice with us. Contact AG_Jarl, MaciPapi or koojiikoojii here or on PlayStation if you're interested for tryout or want to know something more.
  2. Free LW/C looking for starter position (hopefully in a long term team) after few seasons of playing as a backup player in different clubs. - I appreciate good atmosphere - Division doesn't matter https://nhlgamer.com/players/341
  3. Free LW/C for all upcoming tournaments https://nhlgamer.com/players/341
  4. I'm setting up a team with my former teammates kinnune and epelis. Our vision is to create a team that is active and also fun to stay and play with in the upcoming nhl games. We will try to win as many games as possible but we don't (and we wont) have to be the best team around. So therefore we're looking for players with some requirements: You need to be able to play on multiple days in a week between 20 – 22ish finnish time. We're aiming for roster of 7-8 active players where everyone shares gaming time in tournaments if all them players have about the same activity level. So you have to be okay with sharing icetime if everyone is active and wants to be on the ice (some can also be backup players if theyre fine with the role and ready to step in when needed). Will to learn and improve teamplay on the ice We hope that you're kind of person that shows up next day if there has been rough last night games (hope there won't be) We hope you play focused and relaxed If you like and agree with our vision and are okay with our "requirements" please leave me a message and we can talk more after. We will try to get games going on as soon as we are able to find some additions to our core. Currently we're looking for: Goalie RD LW or C and one or two utility player who can play on multiple positions Sincerely yours, kjkj
  5. For starters I must say that I'm happy with the current format of this ECL divisions and I would love to see it work like it is supposed. Long-lasting. But then again I guess we gotta see the realism and adjust with it. I guess everyone can see the dilemma in this since there are team number caps in higher divisions and many teams are eager to achieve promotion. Sure pro (why not even elite) would be the correct placement for new teams that have skilled/elite players. Then again at same time it would be a huge slap in the face for franchise teams (who wants to promote and are on the line next) in lite who are sticking together and trying to achieve pro spot hard. As it was announced earlier that longetivity of teams is the thing that ECL divisions is trying to go for. Tho I can already sense some teams only have 1-2 player of their last year roster so don't know what is the difference between newly formed team and "original" team with almost whole roster swapped. So therefore I'm thinking out loud that is it possible to rethink the divisions system so there wont be biased users due to unfair treat? Some ideas/suggestions to think about and theyre free to use for further thinking 1) Should there be just two competive divisions instead of current 3 divisions? Elite division with team number cap between 12 - 20 teams and Pro division open for everyone who wants to play competively. Lite would be for teams that are somehow more casual and it would have its own eco system! Promotions/relegations scale between Elite and Pro divisions should stay as they are now. All the newly formed teams who want to play competively would be just one season away of the Elite division so the road wont be so long to the Elite. 2) Should we keep current 3 division system and just add another open division for players who don't want to play competively. That way we could avoid them 15-0 crushing games between new teams with skilled/elite players and casual chillers who just want to have some fun.Ofc then it would take minimum of 2 seasons for new teams to get into Elite. 3) Is it possible to create cup that takes place at the same time ECL seasons(?). We could use similar format they use in English football (FA-cup). Then we could see some cross-action between division lines in "serious" games! And them newly formed challengers would have a good spot to show their skills already during their grindfest through lower divisions! And every round should definitely be Bo1 so stakes would be high in every game and this wouldn't take too much time during ECL game weeks. Would love to see lower division team knocking out elite teams in this one! See you on the ice! kjkj

  7. Great to see that you're limiting season length to 8 weeks in the future =) Becouse I think that actually matters the most when our goal is to reach enjoyable and competive leagues for as many as possible. IMO ecl 2 was way better format than ecl3 this year. Since ECL2 was such an intense tournament and not many did walk away during it. I don't really have an strong opinion about them divisions but I do hope that them players who still want to compete against them best will get their shot for it. I also wish that casual gamers/teams could have their own tournaments if they're not even trying to reach the Elite division. And big thanks for NHLgamer staff and whole community of these tournaments that already have been played. NHLgamer is doing great job by offering NHL EASHL scene platform like this to establish teams to faceoff each other on the ice in league games =) Sincerely, kjkj
  8. Murohoki would love to see shorter group stage (unless there would be more matches every week). We'd prefer to see format that has 3 groups that has 20 teams each or 4 groups that has 15 teams each. Reason: Murohoki can finish the long one aswell (2x30) but we think it might be too long group stage for some teams. And just for thought, could there be an option for teams to choose between "the professional league" or "the amateur league"
  9. PSN: koojiikoojii POSITION: I've been playing mostly C but I do like to do LW, RW too --- can also play G and D but I'm weaker on those than forward roles ABOUT ME: 30 year old finn. I entered EASHL scene in this year's NHL and have played approx 700 games as center in Murohoki. We took part in ECL season 2. I'd say my gaming style is 2-way oriented, trying to cut down opponent's turnarounds quite quickly. I also prefer to rotate the puck quite alot and pass before it is too late. I have no interest in captain's duty
