So you think it's fair to have some teams profit off this decision, while others that previously lost are just shit out of luck?
No. I have to disagree as well.
Did they cheat during these games? No? Oh well.. that says it all. And it doesn't matter how much you think and change about it, there will be teams that profit from other teams cheating whatever ruling you decide to have. If a team break rules outside the actual gameplay you always have to consider how many games they have played if they are disqualified. And if that goes above 66 percent there's only one rule to apply if you want to refer to fair. Look it up if you think otherwise. It's another story if they cheated during the games they already finished.

They had only played 66% of the entire season. Handing out free wins to a third of the group that got lucky with the scheduling simply isn't the right thing to do. While we understand that it might be upsetting for some to have played all those games for nothing, making sure that everything is fair and that we're not skewing the overall results takes priority.
Go and find out what's the usual ruling in sports when a team have finished 2/3 of the season and then talk about what's fair. This is an amateur ruling and stinks of lack of experience.

There's only 1 thing that's wrong here. Since Inter Iceland played so much of the season the usual ruling is not to remove all the result. Yes, remove them from playing anymore. But all the remaining games should be ruled WO.

It's referred to percentage. So in this case no.
