In the past it was always very difficult for all GM's to plan the season. 

Is it possible that you from the staff could always publish an outline plan at release time? That you can roughly orientate yourself by what?

Here is a possible example for a whole NHLGamer year.

ECL Warmup: November + December 
ECL Winter: January - March
ECL Spring: April - June 
National Leagues: August - October

That way you would have the whole year of NHL without a long idle period.
