Maybe we should ban all offensive abilities and use only silver defensive abilities? Then we all can get much more realistic game results and games would be tights.
I really hope like lets play ecl spring like we played ecl winter so lets ban only tipper which is totally "broken"
I am Dman myself too, but what i think that we get more creative plays if we ban all defensive abilitys but without offensive abilitys we dont get rewarded in those plays. You can defend really well without any abilitys
and truculence is more ”broken” than tipper. That ability does not belong this game ever

Everyone who have played without abilitys know that this game is sooooo fun to play when there is no trucu and i really dont understand why people not want that to be banned? and everyone who have played now knows too that if we ban all there not going to be any goals in games and only goals will be force after force, i just pray that we can ban tipper and trucu and not others

I have played the game since the first iteration of EASHL in NHL 09, and I can honestly say the EASHL side of things, gameplay wise, is the best it has been in a long time. I would even go as far as saying it's the best it has been in the PS4/PS5 era. We have finally moved away from the god awful pakota vaan (force) meta, and can score from plays farther out from the net. When someone scores a golden one-tee goal against us, I feel like we have made a mistake in our coverage, as opposed to a forced pass getting through in front of the net, which can go through even if it's "covered". I think teams should be punished for breakdowns in coverage and the game feels rewarding both offensively and defensively that way.
Obviously I have dropped down divisions this year, moved to the wing and use golden 1T, so my opinion might be a bit biased, but I've played with and against Elite teams enough in this version as well to confidently say the meta is way better than it used to be.
I am 100% in favor of leaving things as they are with only Big Tipper being banned. I fear an XF ban would move the meta back towards forcing, net scrambles and broken plays in front of the net, which is both boring to play and boring to watch. Even with sniper builds on wings.
EDIT: Another thing to note is having to cover the 1T/CQ makes the defence more active and opens up space in other areas of the ice, as teams can't just collapse to the slot and play passively on defence.
Agree with Antti here, but still i want so much truculence ban because you can hit really good without it and when you have trucu it broken game really much you doesnt get rewarded if you pass puck forward and want to go help and make it 3-2, 4-3 etc. because you are always collecting your shit like 5min... we get much more sense in gameplay if we ban trucu and tipper not others. maybe if many people want to ban all i can understand if we ban all golden abilitys but not silver, only trucu and tipper in both gold and silver

I totally agree with @Miguli36, there is tons we could learn from lower divisions and their opinions are really valuable. Pretty much every team in Elite except for a few try to mimic the same style of play which is just straight up boring. From what I have read here most people are just looking for bans that serve their playstyle, thus that alone eliminates the idea of a vote. Is it really what’s best for the competetive aspect of the game or is it just people trying to get an advantage that serves their playstyle?
If you see players like nikke, vattu etc. Speaking about bans and you think that they want that because it serves their playstyle you are just delusional because they are always best not matter what traits are available…

We have always get best gameplay when we have done this (banned trucu and tipper)
doesn’t really people not remember how much better and funnier game we was playing when truculence was banned

Perhaps the question didn’t reach a big enough portion of the players, but it was communicated from the start that the starting point is that there will be no bans and that this thread on the forums is the right place to argument for what and why it should be banned.
A poll is a good idea on paper, but we want to make sure we are making decisions based on constructive conversations and analysis rather than an opinion might just be echoed by people who haven’t even tried the traits they are voting against.
I’m glad this conversation has now got some more activity, so please keep the discussion active and constructive!

Last year i was talking months that we need to ban things and nothing wasnt done...
And everyone was this year already thinking that we ban those because of course those are broken every year....
And if people is quiet they are happy the way things are(trucu x tipper banned)

like should we ban Stick 'em Up, its so unrealistic like you can spam pokecheck and nearly never get a penalty
-> I'm not sure if you just gave a bad example or you really think that, but if you spam pokecheck you lose speed a LOT. Thats how the game counters spamming. Stick em Up might help on not getting penalty on pokes so easily dunno.
every shooting abilities like close quarter, make it snappy etc are too OP, there is lot of bullshit goals with them from a goalie view (many times goalies have been positioning well and still those go through
-> Weird and bullshit goals have always been in NHL. I dont think shooting abilities are op, they activate weirdly sometimes BUT without shooting abilities I promise you forwards would EVEN more try to force backdoor pass, because it would be the only way to score. Its almost like that already (not many forwards are looking for snipes from usual irl spots).

I think we need to think about this topic how we get games be more fun to watch from the viewer's point of view so if trucu and tipper going to be banned we get more attacking side of thinks run the games and game looking much more entertaining.
