My comment was not really for Fila... but as a general thought. Good luck to you guys and i totally understand this decision by you guys.
eSHL is now taking its first steps and format of the league is probably not exactly same that it will be after few seasons. And if some day we get to see other European real hockey leagues to jump in on eHockey with NHL Gamer, then we will see the final format of this show

Now that i think of it... I have to agree with many. Locality would be a strength for eSHL also on player list.

Doesnt many leagues have limits in the number of foreign players? Like KHL and NLA for excample.

There has been a lot of talk about this on this forum before. And my opinnion can probably be found in there.

It is clear and even was clear before season started that Delusion is team that should play in Elite. But it is not that simple. If we let teams to start straight from Elite it lowers the value of Elite Division and undermines the work and commitment that others have done for their teams to get that spot in Elite.
There is a lot of tournaments where new teams can join right away. ECL Elite is the only one that you cant.

If my math is correct. There is one round of playoff games missing in this schedule. There is rounds for only 16 team playoffs.
- Round 1: 16.-23.12
- Quarterfinals: 29.12-5.1
- Semifinals:7.-14.1
- Finals: 16.-23.1

Can you tell us anything about the format of eSHL? Are you planning a short or long tournament? When speaking of weekly live studio, it sounds like this is a longer time period league than basic NG tournament formats. And i must say if so, thats very cool 😎 Or how about live event finals?

No. NG wants to do things right now with advertising and such. And they want to sleep almost every day.
Thats why longer period between regular season and playoffs.

Hmmmm... where does it say so? In quote from this news story it looks like regular season + 4 rounds (including finals).
- Regular season: 5.8.-25.8.
- Playoffs round 1: 26.8.-28.8.
- Quarter Finals: 29.8.-1.9.
- Semi Finals: 2.9.-4.9.
- Finals: 5.9.-9.7.

I think that if you introduce a new team, names / nicks of the players is kind of relevant.

There will be a news story when next tournament is about to start. Then there will be more info and teams are asked to sign-up.
