    Krangis is my half-brother and we stuck together in teams from the early days in NHL09 until the end of NHL14. I used to play RD under him and had to master the quick-passing techniques available at the time to complement his great sense for leaving the zone early. He and v1lberto was a fierce duo with their Czech-style, super-quick counterattacks which was OP at the time as defenders had a hard time turning over the puck and attackers could receive passes from virtually any angle and at any speed (Bring back slapshot-passes using the boards :D) 

    Well anyway, I heard from him that he might get NHL18 to PS4 but I have no idea if he has any intention of participating in this years edition of ECL

    Those were great times indeed! HC Marilyn were founded By V1lbertto if I remember correct.

    Sounds too good to be true, that Krangis would make it back to ice! Say greetings for him and tell him to get out of silta.

    Who?
    JusaSoLow from Turku, Finland. Played hockey since NHL94, and haven’t skip a single version since that.
    Started to play EASHL in NHL13, before that used to play mostly Be a Pro.

    Position?
    Used to see as RW, but like he says it in his own words: the need to become a better player made me to try other offensive positions as well.

    Career highlight so far?
    Last EHL tournament on xbox360, time before NHLGamer. Helped the Eagles to the finals with most assists in playoffs.

    What are you waiting for the upcoming ECL?
    Success to make it to Elite.

    Personal goals?
    To be a great part of the team. Being creative and able to help the team in offense.

    Motto:
    Do whatever it takes to help the team.

    Something you didn’t know about me?
    I won the finnish championship in virtual billiard.

    Time to introduce the Eagles for you!

    Heksaa

    Who?
    Heksaa, better known as Kanaali Koskinen. Started to play virtual hockey in NHL01 and EASHL in NHL09. The founder of the Baltic Sea Eagles.

    Position?
    Mostly played RD, but you might have seen me also as G.

    Career highlight so far?
    Back in the days I used to be an offensive D and made it to 2nd place in defenders scoreboard and scored most goals at EHL regular season (2013).

    What are you waiting for the upcoming ECL?
    We were able to gather very skilled team for next ECL and our only goal is to win the Pro division.

    Personal goals for the upcoming ECL?
    Being able to help the team and get my own playing back to the same level it were before last year's break.

    Something you didn't know about me?
    I've used the same player name since NHL10 and it was given to me by my former teammate.

    Those were great times! I have no idea what Krangis is up to these days. Easiest assists I ever had.

    Are you saying that we would have lost the final for swedish team? That never happens for finnish hockey teams! Must be some kind of mistake here.

    While we are waiting for the 18 to come, would be nice to hear all the memories you have for playing against or with Eagles. Feel free to share those with us!

     

    For myself the toughest one while playing with the Eagles must be from Consolehockey times as Sjukstugan beated us on the semifinals. Still looking for a payback!

    Baltic Sea Eagles - team that was founded 2011 will be stronger than ever!

    The Eagles will start next ECL from Pro Division with only one thing in their minds. To win the division and make their way to Elite for ECL6. Roster has changed, a lot actually. We have few new faces flying with us and I also made a comeback after one year break.

    All time 7th in points (121 games, 163+135=298) came to fly with us from HC Checkmate.

    Heksaa (RD)
    The founder of Eagles wasn't ready to retire from NHL and made comeback after one year total break (FA).

    Juha96 (G)
    Very experienced goalie from Nordic Stars.

    Pro-m99 (LD/RD)
    Young and potential D from En Hund.

    In case you can't guess, I can tell you that Koski made this awesome logo as well.

  22. ECL 5 Poll: Should a new team be allowed to apply for ECL Pro?

    For the first time, I can feel the heat in Finland this summer. Oh, wait... It came from here?

    Have to say, that this is one of the greatest votes made in the NHLGamer history, as everyone have (or atleast should have) an opinion for this one. 

    In my opinion, there is no point for Elite teams to start from the Lite, as long as the team is somehow counted to be able to make their way for Pro playoffs. Games that ends 10-0 etc. in Lite won't serve anyone. I would also like to ask about the community, that if new elite team would be placed for Pro Division, how it would go? Antti had some great opinions earlier, and I agree that if we won't want that new teams will all starts from the Lite, we need something black-and-white to count the points.

     

    I'm not saying, this should be the new way to count the points, I'm just giving something to think about.

    Games played in Elite team - one point for each game
    Games played in Elite team that made to the playoffs - 1.5points for each game
    Forwards: Top10 in the scoreboard - 20points
    Defenders: Top10 in the scoreboard for defenders - 20points
    Goalies: Starting goalie for the team that made their way to playoffs (over 50% games played) - 20points
     

    For example, tbnantti would have gained 81.5 points for
    - Played 30 regular +11 playoff games in Elite team that made their way to playoffs 61.5points
    - Made it for top10 in the scoreboard and gained 20points

    At the same time vSilenttio would have 50 points for
    - Played 30 regular season games in Elite team that did not made their way to playoffs 30points
    - Made it for top10 in the scoreboard and gained 20points

    And for the swagx88 the points would be 16 points for
    - Played 16 regular season games in Elite team that did not made their way to playoffs 16points
     

    My key point for all this is, that every player in Elite shouldn't be counted the same way. I think that everyone agrees, that for example tbnantti is much more valuable for the team than non-playoff team's player which played less than 50% of the regular season...

    There is also 32 teams in Pro. When one Elite team splits up, there would be two new teams for Pro and only one to go for Elite. Will staff be willing to raise the amount of teams in Pro?
