Thanks for the feedback. That's a miss on my part.

However, you lost your divisional spot entirely according to the ECL ruleset that was applied at the time and in turn, other teams gained their right at a crack in Pro due to their performances in your absence, so with all due respect, in my opinion the shade you're trying to throw for that is uncalled for.

Fair enough! Rules are rules 👍

  2. Zzzz…. Synergy never been relegated from PRO. Last time around we missed playoffs finishing ninth. Tournament before that we finished first.
You guys thought it was a good idea to put us in lite because we sat one tournament out, even tho we’ve been around since forever and proven us in elite and pro all those years.

Facts. At least look shit up before writing about it, the least we can expect now that we’re paying licenses 🤌

  3. I guess it all comes down to how fun you think it is, I understand some people will pay the fee without hesitation, that’s fine.
I won’t, I barely manage to motivate myself to participate when it’s free.
Good thing there’s a lot of other competitive games out there for free eh.
Let’s evolve and grow this thing, let the players pay. What a load of bullshit 😁

  4. This is ridiculous. I’ve been around since 09, participating in most of the tournaments, ups and downs. Been fortunate enough to play at the highest level, competing with the very best and at the same time surrounded by wonderful team mates in Synergy Hockey trough most of the seasons.
That will come to an end personally if these new changes are here to stay.

ECL has always been what keeps me at least somewhat motivated, even if the game itself sucks.
It’s worth the grind in EASHL when you got ECL coming.
But paying money to be able to participate? And not even by choice,  even in the lower divisions, absolutely baffling decision.
    I won’t do it, I could, but I won’t.
    very disappointing news.

My opinion, I don’t care what anyone makes of it.

One thing is fact for sure, LHC got awesome group of guys to work with. I've waited this day, well deserved!

Y'all need to chill and get your ass down. :D I hope people are happy with SHL even investing to this at first place. Give them time to learn things, that's the part of the process, you usually learn from mistakes you do at season number one. And hey, we can't really talk or even hope SHL teams doing things with long term right from the start since the future for eSHL is kinda unknown, right? I see SHL teams have used kinda different and careful angles when creating a teams for eSHL, maybe they learn something from this, as I said.

If you close Swedish Leagues from Finnish People, or start blackmail people with new transfer rules (so they don't wanna move), then Finnish Leagues will be (need to be) closed from Swedish players aswell. I don't wanna see that, best for the NHLGamer would be that the everyone has possibility to participate. Some kind of roster limits for foreign players in both, Sweden and Finnish League would be easiest and maybe best solution, imo. I still wanna hug @ICappeI or maybe even @jtorro1233 in Finland after Finals and so on. And I still wanna have a chance to go play with awesome Swedes if some team gives me that opportunity! Heja AIK! Heja Malmö!

In FCL/eSM there is 99% sure a rule about Swedish orgs. not allowed to participate but it will be probably solved if LHC is FILA and Luleå is NOR, for example. Since you can do new team for those tourneys. My point is, at the moment all the SHL teams with few Finnish players are in good situation since they can participate to every tournament they want and use the same roster all the time. It's good for LHC/FILA at competitive wise and it's not their fault. I just want the game to be fair for everyone, what comes about that who is allowed to participate different tournaments and who is not and etc...

There is good talk going on and you can see people care about this, I really hope this thing will go on with a bang! And be even more bigger in future seasons. Just, don't bury it before it even started. :D

Transfer rules with the purpose of preventing players from participating in different tournaments with different teams within a short timespan would be great news. Both the longevity and stability of the clubs would benefit from this and has always been a major issue in EASHL with a few exceptions.

Then there’s the players who invest a lot of their time in teams just to be sidelined by some random fellow at the last minute. Seen this happening way to many time over the years to good, honest people which eventually lead to them dropping their interest in the game all together.

You may call me old fashioned but I do miss the days when rivalry’s and team dedication actually mattered and meant something, in real sports and EASHL. In the real world there’s at least contracts, transfer rules and common sense as to how the core of your team is built with a large majority of the team being from the country it functions from.

Well, we’re happy with our 130+ new social media followers in under 24 hours. Linköping have been amazing with promoting our Twitter.

You can’t base one comment on Facebook to an entire fan base bud.  We had a bunch of LHC fans in the stream last night also cheering for us.

I bet you are and that they have. I’m sure LHC will make their utmost effort and you guys too.

As to the one person on social media, who he is and the connection to the club itself and the fan base pretty much mirrors my own thoughts about the subject and the point I’m trying to make. It speaks volumes in my opinion.

That being said, I’m sure you’ll be successful and get positive viewers as well. We won’t agree on the bigger picture here anyway, it’s my personal opinion that this will hamstring both the entertainment value of the league itself and the interest it strives to create for both a vast amount of participating players and fans.

Can people stop being butthurt, this is a good thing for the scene as whole. There are still plenty of teams to those talents to rise, thats just a poor excuse. No matter is it sport or esport teams goal is to win and nationalism has only place when its world cup or representing your country.

In your opinion. Evidently there’s many who would argue the opposite, players involved in eSHL, others who ain’t participating as of yet and common LHC fans posting on social media.

Dismissing the arguments as to being butthurt is just negligent. There’s a bigger picture here and concerns reaching well beyond that.

Without rules opinions and actions will be divided. Some would refer to common sense but we all know that won’t work out.

    Swedish hockey league

Edit: Can't see the point of having a swedish league without the rules that only allows 1-2 foreign players on the ice, as in the german and russian league and as we had in the earlier swedish league? Isn't this just going to give us a another european league with fewer teams?

100% agree. For me that’s a problem, now just watch other teams follow suit or fill their squads with Finnish players to bolster their chances. It all equals to another tournament similar to ECL, a blow to player growth in Sweden and my guess would be a less exciting product for the local Swedish viewers.

To be perfectly honest i can’t get my head around to as why you would even want to participate in a Swedish league with a fully fledged finnish team, absurd.
