If we are going to take away the rescheduling option then we need to have later games. Almost everyone wants to play couple of games before the ecl-games. One hour before is "standard" and to start at 19 is little to early when almost everyone in your team has family and children. We can play that time, no problem. But it would be greater if it could be 1-2 hours later. Thats why we try to reschedule every game to one hour later.

This league consists players from western Europe to eastern Europe. 20.00 CET is a very good compromise. And it is a time we all know when we register our teams. It is a time accepted by us to be the gaming time. If the time is not good for me - it is mainly my own job to adapt. I cannot insist that my opponens adapts and play midnight or something like that. Of course I can always ask but if they are not willing - then game goes on at the default time set. If I cannot get my squad up - my opponent can rightfully take a walkover. If I know at start that I really can not meet the default times ever - should I then consider if this league is for me at all? I really cannot be that selfish that I think this world is turning because of me or my team and everything around will adapt if I just want so.

  2. We should stick with the default times given by the league. Be there or give out walkovers. You dont reschedule real life beer league games just because "one of the players is missing" so why should you be able to do it in a eSports league which tries to be seriously taken. Every game is about 12 to 14 (depends if there are backups online too) players personal time scheduling. Could be that some of the players have had to make overtime at work, get a babysitter and so on just to be there. It is frustrating to see multiple times in a single season that it was all for nothing. Takes away the motivation more than anything else. As far as I consider it: This whole rescheduling option should be made more strict - one week earlier or no rescheduling at all.

If this league really wants to grow it will be streaming that does it. Audience also needs to know when the games are played and when not. Considering myself as an audience - I have no interest what so ever to try to hunt down game times when those change even on the last day/hour/minutes.

For your opponent it is nothing more than a total disrespect when teams are not showing when they have agreed to do so.
