Firstly…. Thank you for coming back to us as promised. I welcome the fact that you are trying to make a start to fixing the problem. It is incredibly concerning how you have managed to get into this position… in the past couple days, I’ve only realised how dire the situation really is… 1. Not Paid Winter 25 2. Not Paid Spring 25 3. Outstanding invoices from people such as iRSPe… This now leads me onto my next point…. All that I see written is just words which I hope you will do everything you can to fulfil. Is there any possibility that we can have some kind of assurance. Maybe figures for last year? Breakdown of expenses? And how you are going to become financially stable for the future? I’m also concerned about how you will pay back other teams from previous tournaments… does this mean winners of ECL 26 Winter will have to wait 12 months to see any money… In the UK… we call it “Robbing Peter to pay Paul”. Hopefully you understand the saying. When a community doesn’t trust anymore, it’s a matter of proving what you are actively doing to fix the situation and how it got to that point. If you can show that what you are claiming above is correct, then I’m pretty sure the whole community would actually try to help you as much as possible to clear it up…. I will lastly say this…. Things don’t add up… I have to make the hard decision with my team as to whether I play in ECL or look elsewhere. ECL has been great but I’m not convinced cost cutting measures have really been done optimally if the situation has been like this for a while (which it must have been as there is still Winter prize money outstanding). How much did it cost for Reactiomedia to host the ECL finals and was that the cheapest option available? Again, appreciate you coming out to us. You’ve hit a lot of points but really need some assurance from you to prove you are fixing the problem than just saying it as a money grab for next season.

My point was if it’s pay for sportsgamer and not be guaranteed prize money vs a free league. I maybe didn’t make that clear in what I wrote

So… I not long ago, I made a post about wanting sportsgamer to be successful as that’s in the best interests of all of us to play competitive hockey. I also made it clear that I would like to see clarity in the reasons why payments haven’t been sent out in a timely manner and how the inner workings of sportsgamer operate…. Many others have asked for the same. I am disappointed that you have been given the opportunity to come out and just tell us exactly what’s going on…. This recent post you have written seems like you’ve told us what you want us to know to limit damage rather than telling us what we need to know. let’s make this simple…. what are the main reasons we choose sportsgamer and fees attached? 1. competitive hockey 2. thrill of potentially winning prize. those are the 2 biggest reasons we play alongside community etc…. If one of those 2 factors goes away… it makes the whole competition worthless….. we might as well play in a free league…. That’s currently the cross-roads people are at…. There are teams that haven’t been given THEIR earnings…. It makes it incredibly hard to retain trust in sportsgamer

Aspyre Hockey We are looking for talented players who want to be part of a great E-sports organisation and grow with one of our great teams in Lite and Core. Aspyre Dragons (ECL LITE) A good team expecting to finish near the top of Lite LW/C or LD We are looking for a talented player who can play on either of the specified positions. We are mainly looking for proven players that have experience playing at a high level. Aspyre Inferno (ECL CORE) A very competitive team who are looking to top the standings next season in core G - Looking for a starting goalie or a rotational goalie with good availability D- Looking for some D men that can really play the game. D is one of the most important positions on a team. Without good defence comes a crumbling team. FWD: Mainly looking for a LW. Someone who reads the game well uses their brain and IQ to cycle the puck and create. On another note, I'm also looking for someone with leadership qualities to help run the Aspyre Inferno. Thank you to those that reached out to us. Some awesome players in tryouts. We are looking for a backup LD. Would be nice if you can play LD and RD. “Backup” will still get plenty of game time as we participate in ITHL/WRCL 6s leagues as well as a few 3’s leagues if we get the numbers. Aspyre Inferno - Neo Aspyre inferno. After dragons there are flames and rage! Over a week ago, we officially announce our Aspyre inferno team. This is your opportunity to tryout for the Inferno team which is academy team for Aspyre Dragons. We already have a few players we have brought in. Just because this is an academy team doesn’t change the expectation of wanting to win. What you can expect? ECL NEO and ITHL participation with a view of climbing up through the ECL leagues Playing with the Aspyre Dragons squad on occasions to get further experience Tips and tricks from some of the top players in Aspyre A competitive squad with the hunger to win. Aspyre Rewards At Aspyre we think it’s important that players get rewarded. We want players to use the academy as a stepping stone to getting onto the Dragons squad. To recognise this achievement, any player who gets called up to Dragons to play in ECL competition will be rewarded with €30

Looking for players who want a long term team to grow with and work the way to the top. Preferably high lite or pro quality players. LD: Looking for a D man that can play a strong 2-way game and add a bit of life in the O zone to our squad. This will be a rotational role looking at 14-20 games. C: Possibly one of the most important positions in hockey, We are looking for a reliable and smart centre who has an eye for the net and fast passing and exceptional Hockey IQ. RW: Looking for a strong winger than can run some decent numbers and contribute to cycling the puck and again, fast passing and good hockey IQ. Why Aspyre? There are plenty of benefits of joining and here are just a few: We think it’s important to keep things competitive within the squad which is why this upcoming season, there will be a vote for each game MVP. This will be a €5 Bonus per game. For example 30 games of being MVP would be €150 regardless of making playoffs or not. We enter many competitions including the start up of “Aspyre Cup” which will be a free entry, invite only for Pro and Lite clubs before the ECL spring season. Aspyre Dragons Aspyre are looking for D men and C for ECL Lite qualifiers. Preferably looking for players of Pro/Lite quality as we look for a long term goal of joining ECL Pro. However, I will accept tryouts from Core and Neo players. Think it’s important to give everyone a tryout… always a few gems in those tiers.
