    Well yeah if that's the case, the Summer Cup and it's meaning for this whole community, is not built with that kind of mindset. Maybe having two different kind of Summer tourneys next year could for help for this, but it's just a fact that majority of SC players are thinking the whole playing in summer different way. 

    Yeah i get SC's purpose.

    Since Kenu asked opinions i thought to tell mine. Like i said SC doesnt seem to be a tournament for me :)

    The number one reason for the new draft format was the exact same you guys are writing about. Teams being unbalanced because of captains of some teams might not be that aware of the level of players he can draft. Now for an example, with this format the Lite captain is forced to draft one guy from Elite and one guy from Pro. In the previous drafts there have been lots of cases where the "Lite captain" has ruined his team in the first three rounds of the draft -> rip moti for those guys who know little bit more about the game and community than his future captain.

    Now all teams will start from the same line, having certain basic structure for the draft. Atleast it will be closer to that than before. Obviously you can't say it's going to be 100% that way but in my eyes, this new format should help with this problem compared to the old format where the captain could do whatever he ever wanted. The result with that format was too many saunakaveri picks in the first rounds of the draft.

    In the end it's not going to be that much different, really. It's just about having atleast three different level players in every team when the 3rd round of the draft starts.

    Oh and by the way if it means anything to anyone - I've enjoyed the previous tournaments. But it can't hurt to try something new, to make it even more balanced and fun tournament for every player. 

    Well i enjoy more playing with better players so idk does it help that teams would be more equal to eachother but worse overall considering what i prefer. 

    But anyways thats why i dont participate

    Well im not going to participate anyways, but from my experience having selected by a captain that plays in lite or nowhere (= having a little to zero knowledge about players) didnt exactly elevate my motivation with their questionable picks.

    And having the #1 format would be quite heavily leaning to that happening again. 

    So yeah maybe i take this tourney too serious and the SC isnt for me but thats how i think :)

    So 13.4 is pretty key in that it EXPLICITLY states "This paragraph also applies if a team is not able to finish the tournament for whatever reason.", In non-bloated speak that means "team assistant captains" are allowed to change teams if the captain consents to it, Ape did so why the actual shit was this not applied? This is where you say "it wasn't used because 13.8 (which is contradictory in nature) states otherwise". But wait, 13.8 is not only completely contradictory but it is also GENERAL. What kind of backwards ass rule system applies a general rule over one that is much more specific in nature? In fact, why not top off this pile of excrement with the fact that 13.4 was written AFTER 13.8 was already a rule, meaning that 13.4 was conceived to REPLACE 13.8, jesus christ wtf.

    May as well throw this in here since it's shady as shit in my honest opinion, all previous rule threads are hidden, meaning unless you have special privileges you can't see this 'rulebook' (if you can even call it that at this point, since you obviously don't treat it as such) unfold in all of its idiocy. Also, I would like to point out that a member of your admin crew has seemingly deleted posts which show them in a not so good light, great transparency 10/10.

     I would also like to draw attention to another rule that shows how absolutely pants on backwards [expletive] anyone involved in this decision has been.

    "6.2
    League Administration must stick to all of the written rules at any time. League Administration is allowed to add further clarification to existing rules if deemed necessary. If League Administration is required to process a case that is not covered by any of the existing rules, it is allowed to add new rules throughout a league/tournament to cover these scenarios.”

    But wait, you see the problem here? 6.2 states they (LA) must stick to the written rules at any time. No where in that 'rulebook' is there specific mention as to what the intention behind the rule is. But shit, I guess that explains why you selectively chose to follow an older more general rule as opposed to a newer one that DIRECTLY pertains to the situation at hand. That’s fine though, after all, what are rules if they’re not meant to be broken right? 

     

    Someone isnt happy because didnt get pena and joukki to his team :D

    If you watched dynasty series for example zande did save us multiple times, in my opinion it should not make zande's abilities worse if we defended well? Those things shouldnt cancel eachother

    Those stats are amazing and i think he was the biggest reason why we win the elite and he was the mvp of our playoff-run imo

    Every player in this community can make mvp stats as goalie behind that Car defense. Zande is very good, but I think that's the reason why Polis got that spot.

    Tho its called "top 6", not top 6 most important players to their team or like that

    Think of the little bit weaker teams, newcomers etc. They propably lose interest at halfway if games go bad and lose alot😕. I think 4 groups and shorter regular season would've been better.                               + I think ~30 games / group is enough to tell who deserves to advance to playoffs
