Ye, fine to pay but not how it is now. Always rescheduling problems and rules that are not followed.

Paying a fee as a player and later not being able to play because of reschedule, just one of the cases where license will be a conflict.

When you pay something you are entitled to enjoy it. It will be a problem.

  2. We all understand there are costs related to website, organising stuff, events, staff for the ECL... I would be fine paying a license for a team and a increase on last years would be fair IMO.

I wholeheartedly disagree on paying a player's license. 20€ for some players that are back ups? Or have difficult work schedules? And that's only for this year's edition of ECL.

This is going to be a big source of conflict. Leave it for ELITE and maybe PRO, for the rest of leagues makes absolutely no sense.

I have a bad feeling about this, the X-factor gimmicks, shiny ice etc. Nothing in that reveal made me enthusiastic for NHL22, and I have PS4 and PS5 too. The dual entitlement price is just EA raking in more money, so I am not really suprised. Breaking up the playerbase is numb-skull move from EA, but it seems they don't really care about the community. Maybe we should just stick with NHL21?😑

Anywhoo, we'll see what's what when the 'beta' comes out. Hopefully it won't be a total cluster-fu**.

One thing I dont' get: apparently Frostbyte and x-factor are on both old-gen and new-gen versions, so what is the difference between them, less frames per second for the PS4 version? I suspect these are the same game at heart, they just couldn't be arsed to make cross-gen compatibility because they'd get mo' money without it?

That's basically it. Slightly better graphics on ps5 due to hardware. I also wondered if it was a better idea just to stick with NHL21 altogether
