    SCL 6v6 Playoffs: Play-in round

    NHLGamers,

    As we've closed down the group stage of this years Swedish Championship, many teams have fought bravely for their spots in the Playoffs, some came just short, and others will still have to prove themselves in the Play-ins. The SCL 2021 Play-ins will be played between the 31st of August and the 2nd of September and the participating teams are the squads that finished 4th and 5th in each group, eight teams in total. The Play-ins are played in a best-of-five manner and the winners of the series will enter the Playoffs as seeds 13 to 16.

    I just have to ask whats the point with these play-ins? Is the group stage not enough to see who deserves to be in the playoffs, especially considering that the teams match up against teams from the same group. I would have understood the idea of play-ins if they were matched against teams in other groups, because of the risk of unbalanced groups and we want the best teams to get the chance in the playoffs even if they were placed in a tough group. But as this, in my opinion the match ups have already been decided and I'm sorry all fifth placed teams but I really hope you all will lose :)
