SportsGamer Is Hiring: Lead Developer

As a Lead Developer at SportsGamer, you will understand business processes from a technical perspective and then convert them into technical plans. You will also see your plans through to implementation. 

At SportsGamer, we are building a platform with our community at the forefront of our decisions. Therefore, we are looking for someone passionate about sports. We are also hopeful you can help shape our technology to enable rapid user and business growth around the globe.

The Lead Developer role is the first full-time role of its kind for SportsGamer and will give you the opportunity to influence the organization and gamers through software development. 

Good to have:

• Several years in developing web-based systems
• Take lead in the development of systems and be eager to develop software with minimal supervision
• Convert business requirements into technical plans
• Passion for working with sports titles in the gaming and esports environment
• Ability to travel to Helsinki as needed
• Strong communication skills with fluency in Finnish or English
• Ability to design software architectures

Great to have:

Experience and familiarity with the following will help you excel

• PHP
• Laravel
• MySQL
• JavaScript
• React
• Inertia.js. 
• Understanding of REST APIs (CRUD, webhooks)
• Basic understanding of JSON
• Redis
• GitHub
• Docker

Developing PR, Broadcasts, and Media enhances the experience companies and gamers receive.
