A long season and hard-fought Finals series saw us crown an ECL '24: Winter - Core Champion a while back, and we are happily announcing that the ones to hoist the cup were Belissimo! The Finals series was a spectacular reverse sweep: after the first three games it looked like Sack Brothers were going to run away with the win, but day two of the finals was all Belissimo and despite two one-goal games, there was simply no stopping them!
Belissimo's road to the Championship:
- #9 seed from Group 2 with the record 18-1-1-6
- Round 1: vs Nordic Nosebleed (24) 4-0
- Round 2: vs NAM3LESS (8) 4-2
- Quarterfinals: vs MoDo Hockey (16) 4-3
- Semifinals: vs Mights (4) 4-2
- Finals: vs Sack Brothers (2) 4-3
