After a long season consisting of an initial group stage, two initial Playoff rounds, a top 16 group stage and finally some incredibly tight Playoffs from the Quarterfinals onwards, we have crowned a new Champion. The weather has been great for us in Tampere and both the staff and players have enjoyed the facilities here at Keskustori. In cooperation with The Finnish Ice Hockey Association, we've been able to put on a great show, and at the end of the first day, Teemu @temppanen Karvonen hoisted the trophy as the new Finnish Champion!
Temppanen's road to the Championship:
Group stage: 5-0-1 (#5 seed into the Playoffs)
Round 1: vs @Black1Eagle1 3-0
Round 2: vs @ITemeI 3-0
Top 16 Group stage: 3-2-1 (#8 seed into the Playoffs)
Quarterfinals: vs @NikkeDangles 3-2
Semifinals: vs @sisu33_ 2-0
Finals: vs @J-_-Jamaltheman 2-1
