UPDATE 2: It looks like the issue where you were not able to choose any game modes is now resolved!
UPDATE: EA just confirmed that the beta will be running until Monday, August 8, 10 AM PST which equals 19:00 CEST / 20:00 EEST.

there are some more good news to share with you: B-Bunny_, who is a long time mod at EA's forums, just confirmed via Reddit that the NHL 17 beta will be extended throughout the weekend!
This is what he had to say:
While the beta is currently closed (you can still open the application but not choose any of the game modes), it seems like it will be reopened and continue to be available until Sunday.
We will update this post as soon as it is officially confirmed.
