Help Us Fix NHL 25 Online Issues

We have launched a dedicated form to collect detailed information from players experiencing online connectivity issues in NHL 25. This initiative aims to gather comprehensive data to assist EA SPORTS in identifying and resolving these problems.

    Purpose of the Form:

Players have reported difficulties accessing online modes, such as receiving error messages like “failed to retrieve data” or being unable to join dressing rooms in World of Chel (WOC). The form seeks to collect specific details about these issues, including:

    • Platform: PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series S/X.
    • PSN ID/Gamertag: The account experiencing the issue.
    • Location: Europe or North America.
    • Nature of the Issue: Inability to enter online modes or join dressing rooms, among others.
    • Error Codes: Any specific error messages encountered.
    • Affected Game Modes: HUT, Online Versus, World of Chel (EASHL).
    • Frequency: How often the issue occurs.
    • EASHL Club Details: Club name and player visibility in Club Options.
    • Cross-Platform Play: Presence of both PlayStation and Xbox players on the team.

    How to Participate:

Players experiencing these issues are encouraged to complete the form with accurate and detailed information. This data will be instrumental in assisting EA SPORTS to diagnose and address the connectivity problems affecting the community.

    Important Notes:

If you are not experiencing the described issues, but are having other issues with the game, please refrain from filling out the form and instead contact  EA Help  for assistance.

Only submit information for accounts directly affected by these issues; do not report on behalf of teammates with your own account information that is not affected.

By contributing to this data collection effort, you play a vital role in enhancing the online gaming experience for all NHL 25 players.

    Temporary Solution:

    1. Create a New PSN ID and EA Account
This appears to be the only workaround for now to avoid the error and re-enter the game.

    2. Update Your Playercard on Sportsgamer
You must update your PSN/GT on your playercard at Sportsgamer to match your new account.

    3. Contact Support
Reach out to SportsGamer Support to inform us about your account and PSN/GT change to ensure everything is properly updated.

We understand this is a frustrating issue, but this temporary fix allows affected players to continue participating in games while awaiting an official resolution from EA SPORTS.

Note: using a second account is not a requirement and we offer it only as a temporary solution for those who want to keep playing while we wait for the issue to be resolved.
