Last year's game hockey year was a mixed bag for me. Due to personal factors, I was not able to fully play the championship in any team. Constant nervousness with work and personal life finally got to me and I decided to skip the game year 2023. But now that everything has settled down, I am once again full of desire to continue playing my favorite game. Reflecting on my experiences, I am beginning to fully realize that all good things happen to us by accident. I started playing this game of ours by accident. I met Ollizhki in-game and was invited to join the Shameful Knights absolutely by accident. And absolutely by accident, which was a kind of disappointment for me (at that moment of time), the beautiful Shameful Knights team fell apart. But everything that is not done is for the best, I guess. As I have already written many times, expressing great gratitude to the entire Shameful Knights team, it was thanks to them that I met the team NEPTUNE Hockey. Ollizhki gave me - a newcomer at that time, his invitation to the team. And it was there that I won my most important matches so far. Neptune Hockey, I just want to say you guys are awesome! Both in the game and in the voice chat. Always positive and only good mood. Now, looking through the list of announced teams, to my surprise and disappointment, I could not find neither Knights nor Neptune. What happened? Where did you all get lost? But a lot of new teams have appeared. A lot of new players have been added to the ranks of active players of this portal. And this is very good. More teams and players contributes to more interesting championships. I would like to wish the administrators of this resource patience and the realization of all their plans for holding and planning championships. You are doing a good job. I don't know if I will be able to find a team now, as there are a lot of goalkeepers with a level much higher than mine. But I would like to. I feel that I am not tired of the game and that I can still develop. To benefit the team with my game. Can anyone recommend me? I don't have any old friendships here. In general, dear hockey players, I congratulate everyone on the start of the new ECHL championship and wish everyone success, good luck and beautiful games. To the goalies, which is paramount, I wish more games on 0. Thank you. With best wishes. Oleg Divnov.6 points

Hello Oleg! It´s nice to see you writing again! Keep up the good work! I can only give my response as why Neptune Hockey isn´t playing this season and it´s mostly because our schedules were already really difficult to manage last season and we did not have enough time to practice so we would be able to compete at the level that we would like to, so it was easier to take a year off as a team. I went to help out my friends at the core division for this season, and I can say that it´s a lot of fun to be back in lower division aswell! I hope you enjoy the game this year again and find a good group of players around you! Good luck my friend!1 point

I'm all for a smoother process if one can be established, that's for sure. An updated rescheduling tool with some of the ideas you have presented sound like a good way to go, hopefully they can at least be discussed and considered ✌️1 point
-
That's a fair and great point! That could easily be taken into account in the lower divisions by allowing rescheduling to like Sun-Thu 19-22 CET while keeping the other reschedule tool updates I suggested. It would make the process so much smoother for everyone.1 point

As a former captain i understand the difficulties when trying to organise games. However, in your post you have answered your own question. And your proposal would be to lock down the game nights? this would only make it harder to organise games and would likely in fact deter teams/players from signing up. For example, someone may have fixed late shifts on tuesday & thursday. if I was that person, knowing i could only play league games 1 night a week maximum, i wouldn't pay for a player license and contribute to the team license for 1 night a week of league games. (in fact i am nearly this person, i work 2 late shifts until 20 CET a week. i would not sign up to play and pay money for the privilege if locked game nights were a thing). IMO it is fine as it is, its not ideal or a perfect method but i'm not sure it can be made any simpler. This is where it comes down to the captains of the teams to be considerate and negotiable when arranging fixtures. the flexibility afforded in the lower leagues to move things around is crucial to the majority of those teams in my opinion and it should be kept as it is.1 point

As a former captain I can feel your pain. Scheduling is literally the worst part about organizing a team to play in this league. Although in my experience, communication with opponents has never really been the biggest issue, I'm sure any proposal to improve the system would be welcome by everyone 👍1 point

Once again, as I did a long time ago when the game still carried slightly different numbers after the NHL name, I decided to write a wordless post on my blog. In the time I've been away, I see that a lot has changed on the teams I've been able to play on. Some have left. Some didn't even show up for the current ECL at all. That's why I decided to remember the people who contributed the most to the development of my interest in this game. But I want to say right away that I have in no way forgotten or minimized the merits of each and every person with whom I have played. WHERE ARE THEY NOW? 1. OLLIZHKI27 And the very first player and person I would like to mention in my blog is definitely OLLIZHKI27. If one day I hadn't been lucky enough to accidentally fall into his team, with a great selection of players, SHAMEFUL KNIGHTS, I probably wouldn't have played a third of the games I played. I would not have won the only "bronze" medals of my gaming career in the ECL championship with NEPTUNE HOCKEY. What's he got to do with it? It was his tremendous help that helped me find a team. Unfortunately, the Knights team broke up and all the players turned out to be free agents. I couldn't find a team until Ollie recommended me to the NEPTUNE HOCKEY team instead. Not only was Ollie a great player who could score from any position or give an accurate pass from anywhere on the field, but he was also a good person who helped the rookie to get used to the game, the league, and to find a team, in which I managed to win the final third place. Thank you! 2. HULLUED If Olli was the head of the team, then Joona was without a doubt the powerhouse and scoring force of the Shameful Knights lineup. His goals, seemingly in the most hopeless situations, repeatedly saved the team and helped them win what seemed to be the most hopeless match. A great power play, after which any opponent lost control of the puck and our counterattack began. As it turned out, Joona is not only a brilliant power forward, but also an equally great goalie. Thanks in large part to his confident and reliable play, the team from Russia called RENASCOR was the first Russian team to make it to the Elite Division. And even if it was a little unlucky, but I am sure that next season will be a much better result. On this team, every player is a thank you from me. I remember each and every one of them. I remember the time we spent in the game. I remember the name calling after every successful save, I remember everything! - LW #50 MISETINTIN (Iin Taikuri) - C #9 ZAMIBOII (Chuchillo Mariposa Matt) - LD #63 WIIBENI (Keimolan Kaprizovi) - RD #87 VJOBO- (Suurpellon Shipachyovi) - RD #40 JERPPAZ99 (- Jerppa) - G/LD #42 MULTIMAKEMAN (Multi MakeMan) Maybe someday I'll be lucky enough to play with you again. I'll wait and hope so. Thank you all, guys! It was unforgettably awesome!1 point

Time to wake up. It's time to pick up the gamepad again. It's hard, it's not used to it, but it's even more interesting. Anybody out there need a goalie? My best games were with Neptune Hockey and Shameful Knights. Those were good times. Great teammates. Interesting games. It's a shame we can't go back in time and relive those moments. Anybody need a goalie?1 point

Hi all. I am certainly not the best goalkeeper that I can be. But I'm not the worst either. I would like to find a team to participate in future championships. Yes, I don't do voice chats during games - just because I'm more comfortable this way: nothing distracts me. This is my second year playing NHL games. The stats are in my profile on the site. It's not brilliant, but it's something to get a grip on. I'd like to get at least one chance to try my hand at a pro or elite level team. Just one or two games - not even try-out status. To see what I really am. What direction to go in next. I want to play, but constantly being tossed around from team to team is not conducive to increased enthusiasm and, as a consequence, any high results. I do not understand, honestly, why this is so, but the fact remains. I have always treated all my teammates and opponents with respect. It's probably time to sell the console and calm down... Have a good day and have a good game, everyone! Best wishes to Oleg Divnov. And sorry if I am bored already.1 point
