23.10.2018: Games against Dynasty had just ended. Two overtime losses. Two extremely tight and even games. That was the end of eSM for us. eSM as a whole was good from us, and we felt that we will be having a great season in ECL8. But couple first weeks of the ECL didn't go as well as we hoped. We started the season with two overtime losses against Northern Ascendancy. We felt that we could have done more in those games. After Nor we lost to Sjukstugan in overtime and in regular time. At that point it was visible that we didn't perform as well as we can. We got the game going on during the season, but it was not enough this time. But it is what it it. Season was not bad, not at all. Elite is very even and competitive league and it is not the easiest task to grab the playoffs spot. Tanski87: As a GM of this team I am pleased for our season. I wanted to get to playoffs, but things just not always work out the way you want to. But I had good times with my team in ECL7. For example two wins against Written in The Stars was a great night from us. Rusty Blades is losing three players when it comes to ECL8. Koojiikoojii and kinnune both are looking for something new after 4 seasons in Rusty. Migo_Boo will be in the army during ECL8, so can't lean on his great work as a center man. As a first recruit I would like to announce you all @pentsaa He has played in Falun Coal Miners for the last three seasons. Pentsaa is able to play pretty much any position on the ice. He is known to be a humble young man from Finland. Hard working and a good guy, a player that is nice to have in a team off- an on-ice. He is not projected top-6 player, but as a backup he is everything any team could hope from a player. Welcome Pentsaa to Rusty! Then there is another signing that has made GM Tanski thrilled. Tanski87: This guy I like. He is well known in the community we have here. He is very talented offensively, but maybe a bit underrated defensively as he really can do that really well also. He is nice company to have in the chat when playing EASHL. And he is Swedish. Welcome to Rusty Blades @The_Alpha_Furyan! The_Alpha_Furyan: I am very excited to be joining the Rustiest of Blades in the NHLGamer community. ECL 8 will be an interesting season for me - the first in a long time not being a captain of FCM. Luckily, I have gotten a very warm welcome from captain Tanski and the RB core. I look forward to learning a lot from the players on this team. I also look forward to picking up some secondary assists when @Lamsa goest coast-to-coast and beig bailed out with a big save from @Supreex when I lose the puck for the 100th time.
