I just want to congratulate Eki and Artuzio for going to Vegas. Both very humble guys. Well deserved. I find this saddening after getting to know you a little bit more over the last months. First time you were with us, the goal was yours, you put in the work, were humble and had the net for you only. Then you decided to leave us the first time, I understood you, you had to stick up for your friends after losing their C. Then you came back like a week before ecl, you hadn't played in net for a while and the performances weren't really the greatest so we decided to let you go as your heart were with Iceland and our other G had played really well. Then regular season went along and we were doing just fine and we had good chat with you guys in Iceland. Then you guys got into a rough stretch, you told me how you guys don't sit in the party anymore together and other stuff and I decided to take you back for a third swing because you begged me to. We were having some connection issues with our other keeper and I didn't want to play in net. You came in, played the first day. Then, I did want to play myself of course so I had to bench you for some games which you couldn't handle as you think you are a top 3 goalie in the net in the game. We would have kept you, but you just didn't want to put the work in. So you decided to tell me to fuck off and thanking me how I ruined your season. I find that pretty unfair. But never mind, I thought we could get past that, until you started poaching our LD to your GCL project. I think that was pretty disrespecting because you know we play almost everyday, but you know, this isn't professional so you can go after whoever you want. But I didn't want to let him go and then you told me to just die. Three times I took you in and gave you a chance but the last two times ended with you telling me to go kill myself or to fuck myself. So take this break Alex and try to find the humble and positive Alex I got to know a couple months back, he was a good person.

Thank you NHLGamer staff for making this tournament possible. You can get a lot of negative feedback because any decision you make there will be someone in this large community who disagrees with you, it's impossible to please everyone. People will complain easily without actually offering a better solution and will also easily forget to thank you when they are happy with what you have done. I believe the large silent group of this community is happy. Don't mind the negative feedback too much and of course sometimes negative feedback is constructive/valuable too. ECL is important part of many community member's free time, including me. Playing EASHL wouldn't mean much without the ECL, so thank you staff for making my free time better!

We understand that everyone wants to play with their best lineup. Tho it's not always possible and you have to work around it. The deadlines for each round are there for a reason - everyone has to follow the same set of rules and the same deadlines. There's no preferential treatment. OK, lets say we indefinitely extend the current round of the playoffs because of a single matchup where both teams couldn't ice their best lineups. Now what? Everyone's forced to wait? What will we do when another team approaches us regarding the same issue? What happens when in the following rounds teams actually can't play their games because of the previous delays (holidays are right around the corner)? What happens when we are forced to push back/cancel the next ECL/Summer Cup? We're open to all suggestions and will always try our hardest to help teams to overcome any potential issues. There are valid reasons for not being able to finish the series and if such cases arise we can possibly try to squeeze in an extension. That said, demanding an extension simply because one of your main players decides to go on a vacation and then the team doesn't want to play the series even though they have enough capable players is just ridiculous. Please respect other members of this community and their time.

I feel like the same thing happens every single year. People think the game was at its best out of the box, and the tuner updates are claimed to take the game closer to the previous one. Sometimes people blame the tuner on things the tuner didn't even touch. Play the game and form your own, unbiased opinion.

Skating is great and pokecheck is like it should be. Deflections should be nerfed, and intercepting passes should be changed a bit, as sometimes when you are facing the puck a pass might just go through your player, whereas when you are not facing the puck your player might still be able to intercept the pass, which should not be the case. This game has potential to be an amazing game with a couple of fixes imo.

This is a monumental decision. In one of those "damned if they do, damned if they don't" situations for the admins, I think they came through for the good of the community in the long run. Teams and individual players need to plan their schedule around these games more if they are to participate. Some of them will never do that if they can fall back on extending deadlines whenever it's convenient for them. Consider any organized tournament of note in any other game. You can't take a rain check on your participation if you've already signed up. Either you get in the games when they start, or you get out. The default leeway for scheduling in the ECL is generous enough. If you can't work with that it's time to look in the mirror. And really, it does come down to planning ahead. There are people playing these leagues with plenty of obligations between work and family who still have a clean record in adhering to deadlines. With several days for rescheduling around the preset time, the fact that it can be done is proven by many over each of these long seasons. Sure, a team may encounter obstacles they had no possible way of planning for despite the backup players and the time given for rescheduling. That is highly unlikely but certainly possible. Even then, the rules need to be a constant which all teams can rely on, and walkover wins against a team with such exceptionally bad luck are offset by the vast majority of these cases in which the team could've done something differently. SKY are obviously one of the consistently best teams in the ECL. Their performance in the first round against DYN was possibly the most dominant between two top teams that I've seen, and they more than deserved to continue fighting for a place in the finals. No one in their right mind wants to see the semifinals decided this way. However, the league schedule needs to mean something. It needs to be worked with and not against. Ultimately, that is the clearest and fairest way for everyone involved, and that is why this needed to happen. League Admins, I applaud you.

Oh well, ggs. I will start by saying that this wasn't in any way Flyerkungen's fault. Guy's getting all the shit thrown at him even though he was busting his ass off trying to get the games played. Did all he could and does not deserve any of this shit. (Martindale, eat shit) I arrived from my infamous trip to Miami on Saturday/Sunday night(was great!) and we were ready to play from Sunday onwards. Btw Johtajavirtanen took my spot on LW against Dynasty. So we missed two potential gamedays in semi-finals first week(Wednesday/Thursday) because come on, no one plays on weekends. TWO DAYS. Then we were available on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. At this point unfortunate scheduling things got into play as SJK:s goalies couldn't play before 22cet on couple nights and we had some workshift problems aswell. Everything was negotiated peacefully and both teams had zero problem on agreeing to play today. I understand that it is over the deadline and a punishable action on some situations. But seriously. In ECL semi-finals, when both teams have no problem with the situation and have ABSOLUTELY no desire for walkovers. This was clearly LA:s attempt to brush their soft imago, which is understandable and NEEDED to get people respect the rules. But in my personal opinion this was not the right circumstance to make that move. Yeah, I can take the blame on myself for missing 2 gamedays while sipping pina coladas. I thought we had appropriate amount of time left to finish the series which was 4 _potential_ gamedays. There's just always unfortunate surprises. I won't argue that this wasn't the right call according to the rulebook. I just believe that this was not the right call according to the circumstances. Good luck SJK

Would be nice if players that actually forced our team to quit would get some kind of punishment as its almost impossible to get Elite level players during the season but no... players should show some respect and dedication to their teams and not leave the team if you lose a game or two smh

It's a small thing but I love that they removed broken sticks from online play. Some will argue that such random mishaps are a part of real hockey and aught to be included, but I'm all for decreased randomness and any shift toward a purely skill-based game.

What is this shitstorm? Stop crying, i can understand the fact that this case has different opinions. You forced LA to make the call, live with it. Next time make sure you have enough players in your roster so you are capable of playing the games. Last thing you should do is to attack against LA, theyre here to enforce the rules, and its the shittiest "job" you can do here, but someone has to do it. If you want improvements to rules, do pass them on privately. You aint getting anything done better for next time by talking bullcrap.

When will it be possible to play vs NA teams with same connection for both sides? And also, was Rammer a part off the riots in Vancouver after SC loss 2011?

In my opinion its defensive team's job either block shots coming from blueline or tie up offensive team's players in front of net. Allthough spamming low shots from blue line is pretty easy and its almoust impossible to defend all these situations so this is kind of tricky is this too op. In the other hand it would be stupid if deflections didn't work ever because then defensive team could let opponent's players stand in front of net and just cover passing lines. So maybe it is good to have many variations to score to have higher skill gap on defense and offense which is important to keep game fun in my opinion.

Hmm, i think we need some kind kindergarten division next season, Where teams / captains can learn how to manage a club. Dunno if lite group 2 is only, but we have every gameday same problem. 5min before game opponent says that ”one player is missing.” And It’s really frustrating. Most teams had 10+ players (2xG 3-5xD 4-6xF) and still same f*cking problem. Every time the same story: ”how someone’s cat has stuck in the tree and meanwhile one is trying to get the cat off the tree someone’s ice hockey stick has broke off and the controllers’ wires have tangeled and it’s impossible to figure out which wire belongs to each player. Finally, the story ends how one of the player has replaced the cat and is now stuck in the tree as well, and is unable to play the game.”

I dont understand how youre taking doumi as an example. I believe hidden gem posts are more about players that are a bit unknown to others or underrated. Floor isnt unknown player for most, but lamsa can be for some still. Taking doumi as an example as hes known very well inside the community with his skill set, he shouldnt be in the hidden gem section for that reason. This is more like about players that are underrated compared to their level of skill in my opinion. You need to remember always that when these posts are made, they are made by the creators opinion, not the communitys.

We felt like the video was in line with the typical amount of "banter" on this website (no drastic content, titanic soundtrack - nothing exceptional). I think all of you know the chatbox very well now, and so far we were very forgiving with everything that was written in there. As long as we are able to see some humor in the things that are posted, we are okay with it. Nobody likes total censorship. However this time, by accusing someone of being mentally disabled in addition to posting a personal image without asking for permission has crossed this line by a mile. It was a rude, unreflected attack with no humor whatsoever. If anyone of you thinks this sort of offense is fine, I'd ask you to please leave the website for an indefinite amount of time. This is something that not a single one of the staff members will ever tolerate and we will continue to hand out draconic penalties for this behaviour in the future. Thank you.

To start off with I want to say the beta felt really good. Some things that could be changed though 1. Passes: For some reason it felt like the passes sometimes went to the opposite direction of where you wanted to pass. For example I tried to pass it forward but instead I passed it backwards to my defender. 2 Afkers: This problem has been in the game for a really long time, especially in HUT where ppl want their coins. EA needs to add some kind of timer that will kick you from the game if you are inactive for like 5 minutes. Add some kind of punishment to prevent ppl from going AFK. Less coins next game or a cooldown to que again for next game. 3. Hits: In general I like the fact that hits are good but it should not really be like this. I got hit and my player was not able to stand up again. 4. Saving lineups in Versus: You lose so much time fixing lines every time you want to play versus. Let´s say I played a very good opponent and after the game I wanna check his stats, if I check his stats I have to fix my lines again. I think you should be able to save lineups for every NHL team so you don´t have to do it all the time. Would save so much time.

Well...I don't speak often but sometimes it's unbearable. Let me give you a fitting example. I played with Inter Iceland in the second round of the Pro Playoffs. We could not get our "main formation" set for three of the total six games played in this series. Actually two positions were filled with players who were not a part of the regular season whatsoever. - Did we try to prolong the affected games? No - Did we ask to play another time after starting off with two straight losses? No - was it the reason we lost the series? Probably not Of course this series does not get anywhere near the attention that Elite-Series get. But the rules are the same for Elite, Pro and Lite, aren't they? This is not supposed to be an offending reply. I just think that if you have the chance as a GM to get six players of your team to play, even when it's playoffs and not your best of six ... well just do it. Give some other Player on your team a chance. Winning isn't everything but wanting to win is

@FlyerKungen Imagine how long the playoffs would take or how hard it would be to get the games played if everyone thinks like you? There would be eight teams in elite playoffs asking for more time because someone from their best possible lineup are on vacation, hangover, tired or cat has eaten someones playstation. And if your biggest argument is "this isn't competitive" there aren't any reasons to change anything based on that. NHL teams are playing their games too, even if somebody is injured and they can't use their best lineup. We need rules and scheludes, if it's too hard to follow them, don't participate. I'm tired of this new generation where minority thinks that everything should go like they want and how it's best for them, even if it harms the majority.
